Seems to work just fine. No instructions of how to install it, but if you observe carefully when you remove the empty cartridge you probably can figure it out. I did not do that and kept trying to install the new one upside down at first. Finally got it in correctly and now it works fine.

I can not use these cartridges at all in my canon ImageClass MF247dw; a total waste of money apparently, because I bought them in September (6 mo ago) and seem not to be able to return them. I probably should have installed one right away to see if they work, but who would think there is a problem with brand new cartridges? The chip in the cartridge will not communicate with the printer, printer will not recognize cartridge.

I am all about cutting cost when it comes to printing, especially at the office. Hats off to Smyrna for its outstanding print quality, I will continue to purchase from Smyrna to supply out small law office.

Great buy! Toner cartridges are so expensive. My parents needed an affordable cartridge for their printer. This works great! Will definitely reorder!

This cartridge does not work in my Canon mf249dw. I get a cartridge communications error message and a red light flashing on the printer. The only remedy suggested is to restart the printer or remove and reinsert the cartridge. Neither of these steps solve the problem.AND, because I bought the cartridge early, so I would have it on hand when my cartridge ran out, it is out of the 30 day warranty period. So, not only am I without a working printer, but I've lost the price of the cartridge.

Fits perfect in the printer. On the right part of the print out you can see it has some lighter " banning" but for the price. I am not complaining at all.

Worth the price!!! This product is my only "go to" for printer ink!

Bought this cartridge a year ago and finally tried to use it. It's the correct one but the printer refuses to accept it, saying it's a counterfeit. I've never had this problem before with any other off brand cartridges.
