Motion Sensor Battery Operated Indoor LED Closet Lights - 210LM 6000K Cool White for Laundry, Stairwell, Hallway, Shed, Kitchen Cabinet

I have had this light in my closet for eight months and it works as expected. Sufficiently casts light and the conveniently available AA batteries have just recently required replacement. Well worth the effort to acquire and install.

Put this in a dark closet and the sensor doesn't work well. Also the sticky tape doesn't hold. Over all kind of a worthless light. Update: the company reached out to me and sent me a replacement at no charge. Great customer service! New one works perfectly!

Our wall to wall closets have never had lighting. We recently redesigned our closets and needed lighting. Put 4 of the warm lights in and I couldn't be happier. They all come on when we open the door and is so bright. I have not had them long enough to talk about the longevity of the batteries but fingers crossed they don't need changed often. I will be ordering many many more for the rest of our closets.

Works in extra closets no light was present in

I have to virtually close my shed door and waive my hand a couple of inches away from the motion sensor to get it to turn on. The installation design seems poor because getting the mounting plate in the proper position to ensure the sensor is in the right location is a little challenging.

I purchased two 2-packs two-and-a-half months ago and installed the lights the day I received them. They were for four closets, and I found them easy to install.The motion sensitivity is a bit high, so I arranged the items on the top shelves to interfere with the motion detector a little. Otherwise, the light was going off EVERY TIME a person or dog walked by--even with the closet doors closed.All was fine with the lights until this week; the lights already need battery replacements after only 2-1/2 months. That's a pretty short time, considering these take four batteries. I am disappointed that it is too late to return these.

This unit would be perfect for my downstairs ceiling where there is a light at the bottom but not at the top of the stairs. The light is bright enough and the unit is low profile, so everything is perfect.... except the AUTO function does not want to work. Opening the basement door should be PLENTY of motion to set it off, but it doesn't. I can wave my hand underneath it and... nothing. Then I CLOSE the door, and it suddenly turns on??? This shouldn't be so difficult. All I'm asking for is the motion detector to detect MOTION. If I can't figure out a fix, back it goes. Sad, because I really like it... if it worked. Up one star to threeUPDATESo I've had this unit up for a few days and think I understand it better. It seems to detect motion, but only in darkness, or at least semi-darkness. So during the day, when I open the basement door and it is fairly LIGHT, it doesn't come on. If it is later in the day and I open the door in darkness or semi-darkness, it turns on. Weird. I wish it was just motion activated period, but since it seems to turn on when I need it most to turn on (when its dark), it is OK. Better than I originally thought, but not as effective as it could be with just plain better motion activation. I'll keep it as it does mostly what I want it to do.

We needed some light in our new home for a closet. I was planning to place the light in the ceiling of the closet, but upon receiving it realized that the top shelf blocked most of the light, so we ended up using the supplied self-adhesive tape to mount the light right on the door; it was nice to not have to screw straight into our newly-installed door! The adhesive so far is more than adequate, we have taken the light on and off a few times to fiddle with it and the mount is still stuck on firmly.The amount of light output is adequate for this scenario, definitely not as bright as the LED puck lights installed in the roof, but brighter than a phone flashlight.My only complaint would be that the ambient light sensor keeps the light off during the day, which for most applications would make sense, but we want it to shine into the closet where it's dark. A quick wave or touch of the motion sensor does turn the light on in this scenario however, so it's not a big deal. If it were mounted higher where you couldn't touch it that might be a problem.Overall very satisfied!

Bought for walk in closet that is not wired for a light fixture. Lights up the area great, easy install. At first thought sensor wasn't working, it was almost as if it wasn't dark enough to trigger on. I covered up the small sensor with black electrical tape (see pics) and it works awesome. Really happy with my purchase, am going to order another set for dark corners of basement. Arrived earlier than expected, and packaged well.

Seems a little flimsy even though the bracket is secure against the wall. Perfect light for the closet under the stairs. Would buy again.

As soon as you walk in the sensor works great, light automatically comes on and not so dark. People have complemented how good it works.
