Espring Water Filter Cartridge UV Technology 100186

’m not sure if this cartridge is genuine, as it began beeping shortly after installation. I removed and reinstalled it twice, but the beeping continued. I eventually bought a new top (the black screw-on part that attaches to the cartridge) because the handle had broken and I thought that might be causing the problem.However, I wasn’t able to change the top until last month, as I needed my son's help to remove the cartridge without the handle — it was quite difficult. This resolved the issue for a day or 2 but the beeping started again.I’m part of a household of four, and it’s only been 7 months since I installed this cartridge. It’s supposed to last for a year, like the previous one did. I cannot find a way to submit a complaint, so I wanted to share my experience here.Unfortunately, I’ll need to purchase future cartridges directly from Amway, as this one has been disappointing — especially considering the cost.
