Update after finishing my first tin: they grew on me a lot; so much so that I added them to my subscription orders. I do still think some other reviews underplayed the heat, however it is something you get used to after a couple snack sittings (and as you do, the honey taste becomes more noticeable.)Whether you're actively seeking out a hot snack, or (like me) you enjoy some spice but aren't sure you can take the heat of these... I recommend giving them a shot. If they're a bit unenjoyably painful at first but you don't absolutely hate them, just keep trying a few at a time and you might find they grow on you, too.---Initial review: these are pretty good, and I think they live up to their branding... That is to say that I got them expecting that they'd only be moderately spicy based on other reviews, and as someone who can take the heat but doesn't typically seek it out, I don't think these could be reasonably made much spicier while remaining enjoyable to anyone but the masticating masochist.All told, I enjoy them as a novelty-seeking snack. HOT peanut is absolutely the primary flavor, with notes of salt and then some sweetness, and the heat definitely builds (I had tears on my face as I wrote this. 😂) Knowing that they are indeed meant to be quite hot, my sole gripe is that I wish that the sweetness was more prominent.

I absolutely love these peanuts. I purchased these thinking, well maybe they will be too hot or punishingly spicy but they are the perfect amount of REAL HOT for snacking. My son and I enjoy spicy things and we push the limit with super hot things and have really enjoy other brands of Ghost Pepper peanuts, we decided to try something hotter.Flavor 10/10! As you crunch down on a few peanuts the crunch/crisp is real pronounced and the honey sweetness is the first flavor I got. Then a mildly salty flavor, and the heat comes after you chew and swallow. The heat isn't EXTREME like a carolina reaper pepper but it builds to a very nice level of pleasure/pain. Overall the taste is extremely flavorful and delicious!!!Heat 6/10 The heat isn't extreme but it does build and it creeps. What i mean by that is that it isn't bad until your second handful or when you stop eating them then you start to feel it. I got a bit of a brow sweat and a good mouth tingle/salivation but it's nothing like the pepper or hot sauces made with Carolina Reapers. For the average Joe, these may be upper threshold of being able to eat as a snack on the daily.Effects: Mild brow sweat, 5 minutes of lingering mouth burn, and I am personally susceptible to capsacian cramping, but it really didn't bother me, even on an empty stomach. No milk or water was needed.Value 7/10 I can't give this a 10 because the price point for what you get is kind of steep. I realize these aren't everyday snacks for everyday people but at 13 bones for 12oz ...yeah it's worth it for the experience and they are DARN GOOD, maybe even the best peanuts I have had, but the price point will hold me back. If they were 8-10 a can, I would be much more apt to continue purchasing them as an indulgent snack justified by "Because Dad likes and it's his money!" I would recommend these to anyone that loves spicy foods. Again, they are probably the tastiest and most delicious peanuts I have ever had.Overall 9/10

Good spicy flavor. Seems like the spice is not uniformly distributed throughout can. Some "dead spots" in can where the peanuts were not spicy at all. :-( Still finishing can so hopeful the lower half of can is more uniform.

These peanuts have a harsh bite to them. Yes they are honey tasting, but the ghost pepper spice makes the huge difference. I like it.

Allow me to 1st qualify my pallet for bacon flavor by stating, I eat high-quality bacon most every day, utilize smoked bacon salt in cooking, and will buy almost any bacon flavored product (at least to try once).Peanuts:Great quality peanuts that on their own taste quite wellRoasting:The package of peanuts I received were roasted well, crisp, but not too hardBacon flavoring:I really didn’t think this tasted like bacon, it actually has an off taste to meOverall flavor:The overall flavor was subpar, I would give it a five out of tenPurchase again:I will not be purchasing this product againOverall, I would not purchase this product again, even though the quality of the peanuts and the roasting process get high marks from me.There’s almost no true bacon flavor, and instead there is more of a dull smoke flavor. These peanuts are wonderful!! Love the spicy pickle and the Honey Chipotle!! Perfect snacks , great tasting

Was hoping for some heat, and only got a hint of spice. Can you say false advertising? "Kick yo 'ass Hot"....NOT!!!!! Disappointed, to say the least.
