This was great! I am just getting into sewing clothes and this made it really easy to create a few nice pieces.

This book was exactly what I needed! I am a very impatient beginner and this book goes over all the basics without be dull or slow-paced. The projects in it are really cute and the book itself is just fun. I got it less than a week ago and I am very excited to have it!

Easy read for a beginner. Have not made anything yet.

The book itself is AMAZING and so worth the money, but I did order a new book onlyto receive a book that had several tabbed pages as if someone had used it before.

I love this book! The directions are simple yet thorough, and I’m really happy with how my projects are turning out.

This book is absolutely amazing for new sewists! The patterns are very simple to follow and help you through very necessary skills and techniques to know while learning to sew. They are also very adaptable for every body size. I highly recommend for anyone new to sewing, especially if you are confused by commercial patterns. These are super simple and minimize fabric waste. I made this dress using one of the top patterns, and it was very easy to modify. I will definitely be using this book in the future for more projects.

This book isn’t as informative as I hoped. Very basic sewing and not great patterns to choose from. Would not buy again.

I really like the concept of this book. I like to sew, but I am intimidated by breaking into sewing clothes as opposed to bags. Enter this book. The clothes are just really unattractive. So I could not imagine wearing any of them. The patterns look simple, but they are in lies. The problem that these are just very generic and almost like sewing together a bag and throwing it over your body so I like the concept, but I am disappointed with the book, and will not be Sewing any of the items.

If you're new to sewing this is a great book to take the plunge and make some cool pieces

I love this book, I’ve made so many things from it (and I’ve found it so accessible as a plus-size person) the styles might not be to everyone’s tastes - but this is no fault of the book - I’ve found them really adaptable and easy to tweak to my style.Sew it Yourself is laid out wonderfully with clear instructions, pictures and diagrams. This is the sewing book I return to again and again.
