Good for the purpose
The media could not be loaded. Exactly what we needed for my son’s bat to help him choke up. Ordered 2 of them and easy to put on.

Bat weight
Losing an inch with one choke will add almost an ounce to the total bat weight on my scale. Obviously the weight distribution of the bat will make a difference if it’s much of a factor. It’s durable and goes on and off easy enough. I like the product just something I didn’t originally consider.

Awesome Product - Exactly what I wanted - Consistent choke up, takes some sting out
I have an 8 year old who tends to choke up on his bat. However he doesn't consistently choke up to the same spot every time. You can place this device as high or low up on the bat as you want and it gives them a place to put their hands so it's the same every time they grab the bat. Also, if you child complains that a ball of the end of the bat or too close to the hands give him bat sting. This helps a lot in the fact that it is soft-ish and rubbery. So it takes some sting out of a mishit vs having their pinky up against the metal knob of the bat.

Easy way to have you kid "grow" into a bat.
I have 3 boys who all play baseball, and sometimes they get new bats, sometimes they get hand-me-downs. This is perfect for those hand-me-down bats that may be an inch or two too long, especially when your kids outgrow bats every year. We've used these Grip-N-Rips on several of our boy's bats, and have yet to have any complaints.

Solid product
Product seems to be well made out of pretty durable rubber. It’s honeycomb molded as to not add much weight. Fits nice and snug on my daughters de morini bat Turing her 31” bat into effectively a 30” and takes the mental aspect out of choking up for an 8 year old. The colors are nice as the lime green match’s her bat
