Bull's Eye: Absolutely, Top-Notch Training Rounds
These "dummy"/training rounds are absolutely top-notch. Very reasonably priced on their own (about $3 per round, but you get "free shipping" (which, btw, was really quick)), they are downright cheap when compared with A-Zoom ($5.10 per round on Amazon at the time of this review & price doesn't include S/H; Amazon verified purchase) or Tipton ($7.18 per round; same).These dummy rounds are really well-made; the bullet is crimped to the cartridge brass just as if it were a live round (seamless). Primer is removed (of course) and replaced by what looks to be a silicon bead (no mess or spill-over) which is flexible so that you can dry fire without danger to your rifle. Bullet tip is painted blue (universal training round color) so they'll be no mistaking this training round for a live round (I have not experienced any issue with blue paint flaking off in barrel). Finally, the weight and feel are perfect.Customer service is fantastic as well. I had several questions and my emails were answered promptly, professionally, and in a friendly manner. I'm a fan of A-Zoom's and Tipton's snap caps, but I gotta be honest - if a round I'm looking for is made by the Realistic Snap Cap folks I'm going with RSC. Simple but Great Product to Get a More Accurate, by Weight, Dummy Round
Great concept: take spent cases, resize them, place a rubbery substance in primer pocket, add a bullet and paint the tip, and sell for a profit. Uses brass instead of aluminum so softer material and get's proper weight of a loaded round--only thing missing is the weight of the powder. Only possible upgrade is to use nickle plated brass so it always looks good, but it's a dummy round and doesn't have to look good.Got 10 (2 packs) so I can have an 8 round and 2 round clip to practice with.

but worse are WAY out of spec. My old ones on left, "new"on right...
Can't remember if I already reviewed but...maybe again...the rounds I received are NOT as pictured, but worse are WAY out of spec. Had to drive out of the chamber with a cleaning rod from both my M1 Garand and Remington .03A3. What a pain. C'mon folks, is it really that difficult to make a good product??

Great quality training rounds!
These are perfect. Now I can work action and practice reloading rifle safely! Entire bullet was painted blue as opposed to just the tip, but I have had no issue with paint chipping off. I have used these in a 1903A3, M1917 and M1 Garand, singly, in 5 rd. stripper clips and 8 rd. En Blok clips all without issue.

These are the BEST snap caps
These are the BEST snap caps. I've tried several types of snap caps. The aluminum type leave shards of metal in my guns. The plastic ones break easily. These are made of brass and work perfectly.

Great with Garand stripper clips
Pleased with them. Work well with M1 Garand education. Good quality in all respects

Doesn't look like photo
Tips are rounded off, with bullet completely painted blue. They work OK in bolt action rifles but do not cycle properly in most cases on a semi-auto like an M1 Garand leaving blue paint chips or jamming. If you are expecting M2 ball ammo dummies, this not a good choice.
