LOve these books
I am a crossword lover. This series is perfect. Each puzzle is a challenge, without being absurdly difficult or just downright ridiculous. They are the perfect crossword books for anyone who likes the challenge of a good crossword puzzle.

Great Puzzle Book!
Bought this as a gift for my Uncle for Christmas. He absolutely loved it! It's the third one I've given him in the last two years. He's a huge crossword fan and goes through puzzles faster than anyone I've ever seen. These big books keep him occupied longer and better than most so I will definitely be back for more.

Best Puzzles
Like the easily removable pages as I do my puzzles on a clip board. Can't find S&S puzzles in local bookstores anymore, so purchase online. Amazon seems best.

S & S Super Crossword Book: Super!
These puzzles are challenging enough for the seasoned puzzler, but there are easier puzzles at the beginning. Perforated pages are a plus when you want to take a puzzle or two for waiting in line or for an appointment.

Buy them ALL!
I just keep buying this series. Yesrs later, Im still enjoying and learning from these well thought out puzzles. The "tar out" feature of perforated pages is perfect. I take a puzzle everywhere.

good series
This series of crosswords are easy to read, and easy to use. The perforated pages are a nice feature and you can easily discard of the finished puzzles without doing any damage to the binding. The puzzles get progressively harder and keep you going with some of the theme puzzles mixed in. I would recommend both Simon & Schuster crossword book series to the avid crossword puzzle junkie in your family.

Great crossword book
Simon and Schuster crossword puzzle books are challenging without being too frustrating. Super books are much more economical. Easy tear out.

Some good, some not so good
Much like with many of these big crossword puzzle books, I like some puzzles a lot more than others. jI don't like newspaper crosswords much; most are not challenging enough. Some puzzles in this book just require a reasonable knowledge of language and of the world around us; I like those. Others are ridiculous. I can't imagine that anyone actually knows most or all of the obscure trivia from many decades/centuries ago or from far-flung parts of the globe. And then there are those puzzles that just like to mess with the solver - products of twisted nerdy minds, I'm sure. I rarely will look at the answers at the back of these books, but Google is my friend - otherwise, I likely would use the book as fire starter.
