No Chocolate Chips, No Cookie Dough Flavor At All - Tastes Like Peanut Butter
There is not a single chocolate chip in the container. Even worse, if you blind folded 100 people and had them eat some I doubt a single one would guess that it is cookie dough. Most would likely say peanut butter. If you had 100 people just look at the product on a plate then most would guess dog food and noone would guess cookie dough. It isn't even really sweet at all. They pack 44% of your daily fat in just two tiny tablespoons of this garbage and only put a tiny smidgeon of sugar in and call it healthy? The fat is saturated too. Noone will lose weight eating this dog food. Why not reduce the super unhealthy saturated fat to 10% and then bump the carbs/sugar up so that it at least kind a tastes like cookie dough? It doesn't make sense how a company can invest the money to manufacture this dog-food without ever having a bunch of people taste test it. Even with most Amazon reviews being submitted by the seller and their shills there is still a huge percentage of 1 star reviews. It says to mix it up but how? With a concrete mixer? I open it and it's just a light brownish paste that dried into a brick. I scraped it and noticed that the portion on top looks like solidified peanut butter and the bottom half if must darker. Not a chocolate chip in sight either. It doesn't even remotely resemble the packaging. It was only half empty too. I didn't want to microwave it to be able to mix it better but I managed to chisel out a chunk of the peanut butter looking stuff on top and the darker nutella stuff on the bottom and mashed it together. No change, still slightly sandy feeling peanut butter without a hint of sugar. You can go to the dollar store and pay $2-3 for a cookie mix bag and then you just add an egg and some butter. Or you could make cookie dough from scratch for like $10 in ingredients. A $3 mix bag will give you like 25-35 cookies worth of dough while this tub of peanut butter flavored dogfood costs $18 and is like 10 cookies worth. A ripoff in every way. I knew I should have gotten that other brand. This stuff will make you 10X fatter than the delicious homemade cookie dough or even the premade stuff. It's always better to indulge with sugar than massive amounts of saturated fat.

Coconut...but so what?
Okay, so first the bad. The immediate hit on the taste buds is coconut--like, strong coconut. So much so that I honestly cannot believe that only a couple of other reviewers even mention this. I had to check the label to make sure I accidentally didn't get delivered the wrong flavor. Buuuutttt, the back end taste, and most definitely the aftertaste, is full-on cookie dough. And honestly, once you get over the immediate surprise of the coconut flavor, the taste and the blend of salty and sweet is really very good. Maybe even addictive. So, in sum, it's really a good snack, it's just not all that 'chocolate chip cookie dough' like.Next up, mine came with no chips--I think they might have melted, and maybe I should have put it in the fridge to harden those up a bit before I stirred it. Instead, the chocolate just got blended into the rest. It probably would have been better had I been able to preserve the integrity of the chips. This was ordered only in March in Phoenix--no way those chips will survive delivery in a Phoenix summer. Finally, $20 for 10oz is pretty stiff. Brutal, actually.

Although My Desire For Sugar Was Satisfied; It Was an Unpleasant Experience. Try Harder.
Macaroons. It tasted just like my Mother in Law's macaroons for which I'm not a fan. The coconut flavor was so intense, no other flavors came through. I had really high hopes for this too. Although it did satisfy my sugar cravings with just a tablespoon or two; eating it was difficult. Much too strong with coconut. I couldn't even finish the jar. I'm not picky either. Now what? The other flavors have 3 stars or less. Another brand also has 3 stars or less. All I'm left with is protein bars. They've been around for years and do nothing to satisfy my desire for sugar. If this brand could make a chocolate chip cookie dough flavor that actually tasted like, well chocolate chip cookie dough, it would be a regular purchase. Try harder; please.

IBS Sufferers Beware
I wish I could tolerate this. It has a pretty prominent coconut taste (which I personally like), and I love the idea of having edible cookie dough. However, after eating a couple spoonfuls, I was experiencing some otherworldly sounds and pain from my stomach. I’m giving it three stars because it tastes good, and if you have a functioning stomach then I just suggest taking it slow with portioning. If you have any stomach issues, I suggest staying away.

Okay cookie dough
Decided to try this chocolate chip cookie dough because it has better ingredients then most. For my personal taste it has too much of a coconut taste/side taste to it which I particularly don't like if what I'm looking for in taste is chocolate chip cookie dough and nothing else. Texture is actually pretty rich and creamy to me which was a plus and for me that's what saves it from me not eating the rest of it. It is also pretty expensive at $20 a jar....I probably will not be buying anymore because of taste is not worth the price to me.

Very dry
I didn't care for the taste so much but the dried out texture is what killed it.

Well..... mostly positive
So, it's good, it tastes like an almond joy. So while it doesn't taste much like chocolate chip cookie dough, I am enjoying it. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because it doesn't taste like a choco chip cookie. I am enjoying it though. I live in a hot state and when I got it, it was liquified, even though it wasn't that hot outside. I don't know if I can't taste the cookie because of how warm it got or if it normally tastes like this but the overall flavor I am getting is coconut.

All you get is coconut
I try a lot of foods like this. I don't mind the coconut flavor but the coconut flavor just punches your taste buds in the face. It was so much that I had to tell myself that if I was going to eat this brand I was basically buying coconut in a container.
