This mat is definitely the most bang for your buck. It's helped me sleep better and helped with my back pain more than anything else I've tried. Great quality product. Even my physical therapist recommends acupressure mats.

Let me save you time. There are not any reliable comparisons out there on acupressure mats. It's a roll of the dice. They vary in materials, size, components and most importantly, the pressure provided by the "spikes."What I like about this mat:1) "Spikes" are sharp, meaning you are not likely to grow out of this mat any time soon.2) This mats is reportedly made of environmentally responsible materials and by fairly treated labor.3) It is an attractive mat.4) You get lots for your money, as compared to the other options. You get a large main mat, pillow, foot mat, lumbar support and carry bag.And finally, yes, these mats do work as promoted. I can feel the chemical changes inside, which melt away the stress and seem to be helping with sleep. This is the first review I’ve ever written on Amazon. This mat is amazing. You don’t need to spend more than this for one of these acupressure mats. Yes it hurts a bit at first, but then it is so relaxing. It has helped with sore muscles all over my back and lower back pain. I’ve even used the pillow behind my neck to relieve a headache. Unreal. Get it, it’s worth it!

What are the proven benefits? I don’t know but I love this thing. After a long day this really quiets my mind bc I’m just thinking about the fire happening on my back or wherever. When I stand on it in the morning my feet feel like clouds the rest of the day. Couple minutes of discomfort for a serious sense of relief immediately after.I got this one over other options because I like buckwheat pillows, the color and succulent/flower looking spikes. Basically it’s cute yet minimalistic. The bag is absolutely great bc it’s a storage container, I hang it on a hook on my bedroom door.Minor details but I love the shimmery embroidered tag, and the silver logo on the bag. Looks luxurious to me. The butterfly is also just adorable.

I opted to try this instead of the pricier one my niece had bought. I wasn’t sure I would like it. Well I LOVE IT! The quality is great and the color is beautiful! Don’t hesitate if you’ve been thinking about trying these mats. They are wonderful!

I think it is a very good deal for the price, and the kit feel very high quality.Also it's smells great (lavender like).I don't really see any pain relief yet and it's quite uncomfortable for me to use but I will continue to use it.

When I first read about acupressure mats, they seemed to make sense to me. So I shopped around a while, and this particular one seemed to make sense because with the buckwheat filling, the interior will not compress and wear out so fast. I like to buy durable things so I don't have to keep replacing them if I use them a lot.So far, so good. I use the mat and pillow almost every night before I go to bed. I feel more relaxed, and stubborn aches and pains have melted away over the course of a week. I will say that I was a little surprised and pleased that from the first use, I felt relief from hip, back, and neck stiffness. I had hope for that, but didn't actually think I would feel a difference right away.I used it for about five days wearing a t-shirt or with a sheet over it, but started putting my bare skin on it quickly. Pretty soon I was falling asleep on it for an hour or more. It is very tricky (and painful) rolling off this mat if you have been on it for a long time, but it feels great. I have been more energetic in the sports I play. I have had terrible sleeping problems over the past year, and my overnight sleeping improved a little overall and occasionally have nights of deep slumber, which I haven't had in years. Nowadays, I regularly lie on this mat for an hour at a time.The documents that came with the mat said that I could expect a release of body heat after I became accustomed to the mat and really relax into it. I did not notice anything for about a month, but then I did experience a noticeable amount of heat release, even a little sweating on my back as the rest of my body was nice and cool. It is a very pleasant feeling and very relaxing if you can really lay back into it.I have mostly used this on my back and buttocks and only tried it on my chest once or twice. It was very pleasant on my chest, but sort of awkward. I probably have to experiment on my frontside more which I hope to do soon.Occasionally, I have used this mat on the back of my legs and the bottom of my feet to good effect. My feet are pretty ticklish, so that can be weird, but it does feel very good.I am glad I got this mat for the more durable filling. It cost about ten dollars more than other similar mats, but I think it will save me from having to pay full price to replace it in a year or two.It does have a sort of herb-like scent to it, but in the context of the acupressure, I found it to be pleasant and soothing. The smell is not strong, and I forget about it pretty quickly after lying down.Considering that I have tried massage and acupuncture, this mat is a bargain. Each massage or acupuncture session is at least $40, and you probably need at least a half dozen sessions to feel decent progress. As I said, I felt noticeable progress in just one session, and the mat cost less than one session of in-person treatment. Conservatively, I have saved $1,000 in just the short time I have used this mat, and I get to have this therapy whenever I want, as many times as I want. Yes, I have used it multiple times in one day, and I do not have the money to get multiple massage or acupuncture sessions per day.So, yeah, you could say I am happy with this purchase.

I can add my own accolades for this product. I read reviews of various acupressure mats/pillows and chose UNMERA. I read the reviews carefully and viewed some videos. I have a shiatsu mat and various prickly massage balls, but they simply haven't been helping lately. Perhaps aging is a factor since I'm mid 70s. I really needed some relief (from former injuries) and have been trying the various mats and pillow for a week. The relief has been incredibly successful. Tbh, I didn't expect this level of relief. I tried 20 mins. the 2nd day, and realized I'd made a mistake. I returned to 5-10 mins. for various body locations. 10 mins. on back; 5 mins. on neck/shoulders with pillow. I barely allow pressure on my feet. I'm having amazing results. The stiffness and soreness is slowly fading. If this level of improvement continues, I fully expect a pain-free body and vastly increased mobility within the next few months. My back has actually "cracked" several times as I've lied on the mat on my back on a bed. I know this sounds crazy, but I can actually feel the energy being released. Yesterday and today, I could feel real sore areas I didn't realize pinpointed and know they're restoring some energy flow. The whole idea is to flood these areas with fresh blood. What a difference!!
