Individually wrapped, kind on the stomach
Healthspan Elite All Blacks Non-Acidic Vitamin CAlthough I'm consuming many supplements each day, it's only recently that I started taking Vitamin C. The thing that puts me off is the huge size often associated with Vitamin C tablets. Also the fact that as Vitamin C is usually acidic they can lead to heartburn or digestive issues. These are different, although they are still huge tablets they do have a score mark down the centre, they can easily be cut in half with a knife making them easier to swallow. They also do not contain Ascorbic Acid which is usually found in most other Vitamin C products, these instead contain what they describe as Gentle-C which is a lot kinder to your stomach, so there should be no heartburn of stomach upsets with these. The tablets are supplied boxed with several blister packs inside, each tablet can be popped out one at a time so you are sure these will be fresh. The daily dose is to take just a single tablet each day with water, as mentioned if the tablet is too large it can easily be cut in half.I did not experience any nasty taste or odour with these, and as the description says, I did not suffer from heartburn after consuming these.CONTENTS:60 x TabletsThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Excellent
These are good 500mg Vitamin C tablets, but they're not great. The tablets are quite large, and they're uncoated so I didn't find them very easy to swallow. They just seemed to get ever so slightly caught in my throat. But they do go down if you take them with a big drink. The dose is good, though, so I suppose that's fair enough. The other issue is they contain magnesium stearate, which is a caking agent that isn't very good for us - am always aware of tablets and supplements that contain it because it doesn't have it.They're also pretty expensive for what they are - for a similar price, I've had easier to swallow Vitamin C capsules that had a slightly higher dose that also contained Quercetin, which is amazing.I like this company a lot, though (they do some great zinc lozenges if you're poorly); but these aren't the best. Not the worst by any stretch! But not the best.

Good but expensive
These are perfectly good Vitamin C tablets. They ingredients are good; they do contain hypromellose, which I assume is to aid absorbtion and/or to allow slower release of the active ingredient. The non-acidic formula is a good thing, especially if you have problems with stomach acidity. All that said, I think they are expensive for what they are. The current price of thirteen quid for 60 tablets is an awful lot for Vitamin C and I suspect that the All Blacks endorsement has pushed up the price significantly. The package is recyclable cardboard, but inside the tablets also come in blister packs which are unnecessary plastic waste. In summary, these are good but expensive. Personally, I’ll be sticking to more reasonably priced brands in future.

No Heartburn.
These Vitamin C tablets come blister-packed and there are sixty tablets in the box. That means a two-month supply so they are not expensive. Each tablet is marked at its halfway point so I suppose you could cut them into two pieces if the whole tablet is too big to take easily.I haven't had any problems with taking them. Vit C tablets can be notoriously large but these are easy enough to take with water or to disguise in a mouthful of food. They don't have any smell or after-taste and, praise be, no subsequent heartburn. Previously I've taken soluble Vitamin C to avoid the heartburn associated with it but these tablets have not caused me any problems at all. I've felt better for taking them and fully recommend them.

Great for sensitive stomachs!
This pack contains a total of 60-tablets to be taken daily with water. This should therefore last up to 2-months working out at around £6.50 a month. It comes packaged very well and is Vegan so suitable for Halal diets also. As someone who has a lot of Acid/Heartburn, normal Vitamin C tablets can cause this to trigger a lot. This uses a gentler form which is non-acidic and has led to no triggers which is ideal for more sensitive stomachs. It’s priced a little higher than other Vitamin C tablets on the market but given the fact it doesn’t trigger for sensitive stomachs gives it a plus in my books.

Vitamin C supplement that is more expensive than others
These supplements seem to do what I expect although there is slightly less Vitamin C than some other supplements, you only need to take one each day which is always a bonus.I'm not convinced at all about the blister pack packaging which, strangely, isn't shown in any of the photos. The manufacturers are obviously proud of their links to the All Blacks and push that in all the advertising but I'm not sure it is necessary for a fairly basic vitamin C supplement. The price is high when compared to similar supplements and this one doesn't seem to add anything particularly special.

A bit large for me
Vitamin C is very important, of course, and it's good to find a supplement that's one a day. I'm not completely struck by all the blister pack nonsense but the biggest issue for me is the size. They're just a tiny bit bigger than a standard supplement and that makes them a bit tricky for me to swallow. I have a sensitive gag reflex so these are a bit difficult for me. The best thing to do, if you're like me, is break them in half.A bit pricey for what they are, but I suspect that's the branding, and difficult to down in one, but they are good quality.

Very happy
I really like health span supplements and have ordered a number of them recently. Usually if a supplement can be made to vegan by them it is and this is no exception. It comes in blister packs which means each of the tablets remains nice and fresh. The tablets are big but I found them okay to swallow but someone who doesn’t like swallowing supplements might find it a little bit tricky. You get it to 2 mg of vitamin C per tablet and you take one daily meaning the spike will last you two months. You get along expiry date of well over a year.
