Learn while you squirm!
My family, friends and I just loved this game! The questions are amazingly well put together, drawn from every imaginable genre and source, and are often surprising. These brain teasers span decades of folklore, pop culture, urban legends, supersitions, classic horror and modern myth. No matter what the question or the source, it's all GOTH, and it's fantastic! So much fun was had with this game. The board is small and simple but looks exactly like a Goth board game should. If you're anything like our family, you'll be more interested in the trivia and how much you didn't realize you know about Goth info than the board and the asthetics. We bought this as a Halloween friends and family game, but I can tell we're going to be playing this game all year round. It's that good! If Goth, horror, and things that go bump in the night are your thing, you'll love this game!

Goth: The Game of Horror Trivia
This was a Christmas present for my daughter. My husband and I played this game with her and her boyfriend as we thought we knew a lot about Horror. Boy were we wrong. This has some very obscure facts and is interesting though a long game for unless you know these obscure facts. It takes a bit of getting use to as everything is backwards from a regular board game, but very enjoyable. This is a must have for those that like games and horror.

Its "ok" but nothing great. Not worth $75
I've had this since 2003 (bought for $26). I'm a HUGE horror movie/book fan. So I HAD to have a horror movie trivia game. Unfortunately I don't have anyone to play it with. I did get to play it 2-3 times and pulled out and read most of the trivia cards, and I wasn't impressed. There didn't seem to be many current horror movie questions. A lot of them were about rock & roll and silly things like that. If your looking for a game based solely on horror movies/books. Don't bother with this one. Especially for the $75 its going for right now as I write this.

Basically a campy horror Trivial Pursuit
Some may think that "campy" is a bad thing, but I'm one of those people who thinks that the Evil Dead series is hilarious and I laugh at the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, so campy is just good fun! The questions are challenging at times, stupidly easy at others, but since the cards are double-sided, you can flip depending on how well you like the people with which you happen to be playing. ;)Side note: I used to play this game all the time back in 2002 with my roommates. I'd been missing it ever since, and I finally found it again!

Good game and concept but NO expansion packs
Good game and concept but NO expansion packs. It does not take long to go through all of the questions. Sad.

Goth doesn't just mean black lipstick and horror movies
The people complaining about the game not being goth enough are funny to me. As someone who's been involved in goth subculture from a young age, I can say that it's not just about watching and reciting horror movies. This game provides trivia questions for all aspects of goth culture, from music and movies, to real life murders and historical events. If you have knowledge of random facts from the dark side, or it's something you have an interest in, I'd highly recommend this game. Friends and I have had a blast playing!

the darkside of trivial pursuit!!!
I bought this game at a swap meet and out of sheer boredom we played it last night and despite not being goth at all (the game) the game itself was fun as hell. The kind of trivia questions I really enjoy. Serial killers, horror movies, film noir, metal, and occult books. Sure, I wish the game was called something else but none the less, it is far more fun for the darkside of trivial pursuit
