These aren't like standard silly bands as they really don't retain their shape well so you can tell what they look like. It's almost like they got squished so much in the package and then heated so their shape wasn't quite right.

I wanted to rate these higher, as I really like the idea (I was going to embed them in clear soap as a Christmas gift for two children), but when I received these bands they were stretched beyond all recognition. When I opened the package (which was perfectly intact and not damaged from shipping at all), they spilled out in one lump like a giant mess of melted rubber. Only a few of the bands even remotely retained their original shape (two trees and one reindeer). The rest were just large, wrinkly circles the size of a salad plate. It took two people working off of the pictures to figure out what shapes they were even supposed to be. The picture makes the bands look as if they're connected within the band to help them hold their shape, but (to pick one), Santa's arm is the only loop within the Santa band and is only attached at the shoulder (the bag doesn't "tie" at all). When I pushed and prodded it into a vaguely Santa shape, his arm ended up so much closer to his foot than his head that for a minute I honestly thought it was meant to be a more obscene part of his anatomy.The three that resembled their design were still pretty warped and stretched out. I had to lay them flat on a table and push the bands into shape, and they curled up off the table no matter how long I left them under a heavy stack of books. I put one in a tight soap mold to hold it in shape, but the curl was tight enough that it warped it out of shape before the soap could harden (I realize this part is clearly not an advertised use of the rubber bands, but I have seen it done with shaped bands before with no issues).One star for *technically* being both bands and rubber, but as almost all of them were shapeless and so large that they could fit around my head without feeling tight, I can't give it any more.
