I needed new brushes, to do a face painting unicorn party for a friend. I'm not a professional, but I was tired of struggling with my old inferior brushes, as I'm often asked to do this for friends. My face painting was so good, folks were asking me for cards etc to stay in contact. I'm very pleased with my fairy art face painting today and am even considering doing this on the side, now that I know I can do it well. These brushes made it effortless. They performed just like I saw on so many YouTube instructions for technique. And I still can't believe the price! Must have been a typo, cause this was a steal for this quality! Tried to download a photo but my phone says low memory? Lol. Trust me, the kids looked great!!!

I originally got this set for beginning watercolors. I still have them and use them as my primary set. Two years later 2 brushes I use most each have a teeny hair poking a mm or two out of place. The rest look new. The rounds and flats still hold a good shape. The case is sturdy and does not fold so it is convenient for travel or carrying in a bag (and has space to stash a couple pencils and eraser). This set is as advertised, very long-lasting. I would get it for any friends or family interested in painting. From my experience with other brushes this set is more nicely made than many others of similar or higher cost.

I have been face and body painting since 1980 and have used a lot of brushes in that time. I ordered these to check them out and the price was right.. I have been nothing but impressed. This is the second time I've ordered them and I have recommended them to a few beginner face painters too.I have been glazing pottery for the past few years and glaze is very hard on brushes..so this case and set of brushes is perfect for that too. I love the variety of brushes and actually use them more when I glaze than when I face paint. Thanks for making such a nice product.

I have yet to try the brushes, which I’m sure they will get the job done, however I wasn’t happy to find this when I unzipped the pouch for the first time ever today. Thankfully it’s nothing a little super glue can’t fix, but hoping a brush head doesn’t fall off in the middle of a painting.

My wife really likes these brushes especially the case and how it props the brushes up. I do not use them myself but I know though she has removed some of the brushes she still uses the case with other brushes for how it organizes the brushes and how it stands them up for easy reach.

CHANGE OF REVIEW FROM THE OLD ONE BELOW:They sent me out a new brush at no charge! That ok you so much!!!Only used this brush three different times, never left it soaking in water, and all of the bristles came right out! I've been painting for almost ten years and have never had this happen before. I loved them when they arrived and the cute case but wow.

Decent brushes for the prices. I like the case. One of the brushes is losing the finish on the stem, but for the most part I'm satisfied. I use mostly with colored India Inks and watercolor. These would be good someone thinking about starting to paint - or as a set of beater brushes.

The brushes have a nice assortment and are of quality.I do not like the way the holder was designed and had a hard time trying to get it to stand up.It is compact so I do not have to take my entire set of brushes with me when I want to paint outside.
