Useless
Ok, I read all the bad reviews about the voice recording...I thought to myself is that racism or just people being picky? Who cares about the accent right? Well, they were not kidding it is really hard to understand, but like many said, why do I care? It's an alarm system so I know what it is saying, but once I heard it...well it does make it look very unprofessional (you figure they can find one person that speaks the language in which they are trying to sell)...but again, at the end of the day, I would still have kept it...as I don't care...but be aware, the other reviewers are not kidding, it is a very strong Chinese accent, with very poor pronunciation, so very hard to understand...you will laugh every time you hear it, if that bothers you, this alone would disqualify this product for you.But the main problem with this thing is the motion sensors, they are really crap, I tested them at 5, 10 and 15 feet. At 5 feet, they have a 75% chance of detection, if you move a lot it will pick it up, but if you move slowly it is conceivable that it might not always detect movement. Though to be fair, if 5 feet is what you need, it might just work. At 10 feet though, you get less than 50% chance that it will detect movement. I moved around and I could walk across it and half the time it would not trigger the sensor (my 9 year old daughter can run in front of it and it will not pick her at all)...my wife was laughing at "yet one more of my cheap purchases that don't pan out" (but Amazon is great, just send it back so I figure, still worth the gamble). At 15 feet forget it, you can have a dancing party there and the sensors won't be any the wiser. The door contacts worked well, but really the motion sensor is what I was going for (in case they get in through a broken window the door/window sensors won't do any good). If you only need door sensors though, it might still do the job if you need something really cheap. So as a security system this is useless for me.

Annoying instructions, but it does what it's supposed to!
The instructions are a bit annoying, but once you get past setup, it gets the job done & makes me feel a ton more secure!
