Gourmet Popcorn Variety 3-Pack (45oz per pack)

i just got my Gourmet Popcorn Variety 3-pack (45 oz per pack) and wanted to make sure that other potential purchasers were aware of what they were buying. There are three plastic bottles of popcorn in the package. Each bottle contains 15 ounces of popcorn for a total of 45 ounces for the entire order. When I ordered the popcorn, I thought I was getting 3 45 ounce containers. This would be a little over 3 dollars per pound which is reasonable for gourmet popcorn. Instead this works out to somewhat more than 10 dollars per pound. I considered returning it, but as a popcorn lover, I decided to keep it. I may amend my review after popping some of it to see if it's worth the price.

Pros:The popcorn itself is good. My kids and I love popcorn so we like trying different varieties.Able to mix different types together in the same batch for contrasting flavors and texture.Works very well in an oil popper. Not a lot of leftover unpopped seeds.Cons:Paying something like $10 for shipping. It's likely you can find something very similar to this in a local store (I got a similar 3-pack at Target last year) for a similar price, and will save on the shipping.Overall, it's good. It's just not a good value because of the shipping costs.

When ordering on-line I'm not always sure of sizes that will be received, according to what's advertised. 45oz sounded like a goodly amount of popcorn for the cost I paid but when I received the order the containers of popcorn were much smaller than I envisioned. I've purchased the same popcorn, or very much like it, from Target for less, but they were out of theirs.The popcorn tasted great (3 varieties) but was disappointed with amount received for money paid.

After reading reviews, I thought this would be a good purchase. I'm adding my "two-cents" as two stars to stop others from making the same mistake. My children thought it was cool to see popcorn kernels that were blue and red, which turned white when popped. That is the ONLY reason this popcorn gets two stars instead of one. The kernels pop smaller than the bulk bag of popcorn that we use and have a higher seed coat to fluffy white ratio. The flavor is no better and the cost makes it wholly undesirable.

Can't say enough good things about Fireworks Popcorn!!! Also love the Presto PowerPop. You can pop with or without oil and experiment with different kinds/flavors of oil and it's so much fun. You can also control exactly how much oil goes into the popcorn. I am not a fan of air popped corn because salt won't "stick" to air-popped popcorn -- so I love this popper. I am on my third one -- not that they wear out -- I took one to work and used it every day for years until somebody took it (guess they loved it too) -- and so I bought another -- and have one at home -- and they just keep going and going. Fantastic. Can use the concentrators over and over. Fireworks popcorn is the best popcorn to pop in it!!

The popcorn is good but I was originally under the impression that each kind of popcorn was 45oz,not the entire package, I misread it, but when I read the reviews, I found I wasn't the only one who did the samething. Quality wasn't an issue, but $25 is more than I wanted to spend...

I am an absolute "Popcorn Nut" and my 10 month granddaughter is quickly joining the ranks as well. Of course, she's just eating modified kernals. I love this product because I get to sample multiple flavors without waiting for a new delivery. This product gives me an opportunity to savor these different flavors and decide my favorite. Well, guess what, I can't decide which is my favorite. Although, I am leaning toward the "Red River Valley".Great stuff WisconsinMade.

I've tried a lot of brands, store bought and mail order, and consider this the best so far. Especially nice to get this 3-pack so you can see for yourself the difference in flavor you get from just using a different corn variety.It pops a bit smaller, as is true for many of the gourmet brands. But this popcorn has actual flavor. I usually pop it with plain oil and a little salt and pepper, letting the real flavor come through.The corn is non-GMO a plus for me.Don't go for the "bigger is better" but bland that is all to common. Give this stuff a try and you won't be disappointed.Excellent and highly recommended.
