Eathtek NEW CPU Fan for HP DV6-6000 DV6-6200 fits P/N MF60120V1-C180-S9A AD6505HX-EEB

The sold item is totally unrelated to original item and does not fit into HP Pavillion DV6 as is completely different (larger, with a single opening instead of two, and different positions for mounting screws).I ordered two of these Fans. One to use and one to keep as spare for future use. I received two different Fans!!! One had a label with unrelated part number. The other Fan had no marking or label. Each FAN with a different type of FAN blades and much smaller than original which means will produce much less air flow.Neither FAN had a 4 pin connector. Both came with a large 3 pin connector which does not fit into the slot on board. Each also had a different wiring (color coding) termination on 3 pin connector.Also no Free Thermal paste was included with either FAN.As order was shipped via a forwarding address to international not worthed to return as shipping cost is more than order cost.Totally unsatisfied and disappointed as after waiting for weeks for order to arrive still can not replace broken FAN on my HP laptop which means continues to run hot at 200F.

Fan was used to change failed fan in the HP Pavilion dv7-6000er laptop. It has a same p/n, fits into the mounting points, but not the same kind of impeller. After assembly impeller touched metal cover while rotating (with friction noise) so quickies decision was to make some kind of gasket between impeller and cover. Then it work fine and quite and doesn't allow laptop to overheat like an old fan

Exactly as described, fits perfectly, quiet operation. The Pictured fan is a different brand than the original, but the fan I received is actually the identical fan to the original. Excellent to keep this older laptop rollin'.

This replacement fan is working perfectly in my HP Pavilion dv6-6033cl. HP or the local repair store would have been expensive and time-consuming, so I did some research and bought this fan and my husband installed it. It took him a few hours but the fan was identical to the original one and is working perfectly.

Perfect. It was a pain to take apart my whole laptop but it works like new. I used this for my HP DV6t quad - 6000 series there is a dis-assembly video on Youtube that I recommend watching before attempting on your own.

My fan went out on my HP and I ordered this fan and it came very fast and since it has been installed I'm up and running like a champ again!

It says it was for the above model laptop, the fit was no where near correct. I gave up and order a replacement thru HP direct. Not sure if they sent wrong one, but couldn't wait another week plus fro them to ship another from china to me.
