Shrink! Shrank! Shrunk!: Make Stylish Shrink Plastic Jewelry Paperback – October 2, 2012

I kept checking this out from the library so after 5 times, decided to buy it. Starts with all the basics with good instructions. It's a good starting place.

The cover of this book sold me on the content before I even looked inside. Ingenious, quality projects that look like something an adult would make and wear. In most cases, you can't even tell that shrinkable plastic was used to make the items. I love that the introduction of the book talks about other recyclable plastics that can be used for shrinking and also goes over techniques so that you're not basically just going from manufacturer's directions to make the projects. A great collaboration of artists with an eye for mixing fun with quality.

Purchased the book while working on ideas for my daughters wedding paper crafts. The book served as a great inspiration but because of the number of items we needed to produce; it was not very practical. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow but I have to admit I used Shrinky Dinks when I was a child. The magic is still there but with a sophisticated twist!

Making jewelry with Shrinky-Dink - so much fun! I have seen this jewelry at craft fairs and really wanted to learn how it is done. This book is excellent at explaining the process and the different materials you can use to achieve different effects. Who knew Shrinky-Dink was so versatile? I didn't love a lot of the designs the author uses, but you can disregard the one's you don't like and make up your own designs.

such a creative out of the box idea to use shrink plastic. The very idea of making such cute things this book is full of makes me wish for time to play immediately. Maybe some of these projects are not for little hands, but any young adult (all ages of us!) can make magic happen in a fun and creative way with the ideas presented. great resource!

I really enjoyed the ideas in this book, and it was nice to have a variety of projects available in a compact book versus having to look different ideas up on the internet, especially for crafting on vacation, etc. The book is complete with a list of tools, what works for shrink art (even if you don't have poly shrink on hand) and tips on coloring.

This book has lots of easy projects and a few that are much more complicated. The instructions are clear and the first chapter on how everything works is very informative. Who knew Shinky plastic was #5 and items purchased from the produce department could very well be in a shrinkable container. My only complaint would be more patterns, maybe include some holiday jewelry.

I love this book and I love the samples shown in the book. It has some good information. After looking through the book, I started getting some ideas on what I wanted to do. I will continue to use the book to help get some ideas. This book is great to have in your craft collection.
