co2CREA Hard Case Replacement for Logitech MX Ergo S/MX Ergo Wireless Trackball Mouse (Black Case)

I was thinking about buying a second MX Ergo to have one at work and one at home but figured it would be cheaper to get a case for the one I had and bring it back and forth. This case fits it perfectly and turns the ergo into something you can just toss into your bag. There’s enough room to squeeze the USB receiver in (if you use it) and it has a loop that I attached an air tag to. It’s survived at least one 3-4’ drop with no issues in the couple months that I’ve had it. It also fits the magnetic plate that attaches to the bottom of the mouse. It doesn’t have room for the rubber base they include with the ergo, but I only use that sporadically anyways so I just leave that part at work.

I didn't buy the case for travel, just wanted a cover for the trackball when I wasn't using it. Of course the case is more than just a cover. It keeps the trackball free of dust and accidental spills when it's not being used. The trackball fits perfectly in the case even with the magnetic plate on the bottom. You have to set it in the "flat" position though and not at the 20 degree angle in order to close the top. Great trackball, would buy again.

Only disadvantage is I have the Ergo+, which includes a wedge...the product dimensions exclude the wedge. Otherwise, I like the hard shell, which protects all the buttons from getting pushed, and overall, protects the mouse.

I've been using trackballs for a very long time. I have a tech backpack that I use for work. While the laptop compartment has good padding to keep it separate from the larger compartment where I carry my tools, the smaller compartment where I was storing my trackball didn't seem to be as protected either from the tools inside of it or anything outside of the backpack that it might bump into or fall against in transit from one customer site to another. I didn't even know these types of cases existed until they showed up in my Amazon Recommendation after I'd bought some new/upgrade balls for my existing trackballs. And, as soon as I saw that the cases existed, i knew I had to get one because it would address the growing concern that I had that the trackball might get broken at some point. The hard case gives it the protection it needs. And, because of its clamshell design, you can also just open the top and leave the trackball in the case while you use it.

I just bought this mouse and then i have to go some days to office, to take care off i buy this one, it works perfectly, even i have to buy other one to my mom.

Great for carrying my MX Ergo around in my back pack. I worry less of having the buttons getting mashed and beat up. The design is good and feels rugged enough to keep in my bag. I’m not so sure about tethering it to the outside of my back pack. I tried for a bit but got tired of having it swing around and hit door jambs.I wish I could fit the MX Ergo Plus base in the case. I use to just throw in my back pack loose but got tired of theat routine. Now I just leave it at work. I don’t use it as much at home so I can deal with not having it.

Nice soft case but does not fix with the prowedge or USB. No worries protecting the trackball 🖲️ is more important.
