I purchased these wool dyer balls to begin reducing the waste and chemicals in my home. It's my first time using them and I was pretty hyped by reviews on other products.These are priced a little above some of the cheaper dyer balls on here, but they're not the most expensive. They had no reviews but I rolled the dice because it's the mixed color lot. I received six total: four white and two gray. It was my assumption I would be receiving three of each color, which is the reason I purchased this product to accommodate dark & light loads.. I'm happy to report thus far that it has not mattered one bit.First, the wool balls are big, about the size of a baseball. Maybe bigger. They came in the bag pictured but I haven't used the bag as they just sit in an open basket between use.They feel really great and after fifteen to twenty loads so far, they're holding up wonderfully! I mix both colors together using all six for big loads. I have not seen a reduction in drying time sadly, but there is no lint left on my clothes which is what I was most concerned wbout. Also, when I take some items out of the dryer they are insanely staticky, but once you shake them the static is gone and doesn't return when you go to put them on. No idea how that works. I also bought woolzies lemongrass essential oil and put a few dabs on the balls before they go in. I enjoy the smell so much that I buy the unscented laundry detergent now.All in all, it's a solid purchase and I'm happy with them. I'd purchase again.

The Fluffies wool dryer balls are very nice. There was no odor and no dye from the included grey balls. If have found that some companies claiming to be dye free do indeed use dyed wool in their dryer balls. I am very pleased with this brand so far. The customer service is very responsive when asking questions.I have used these balls several times and found that they work as promised. I am very pleased. If you leave your clothes in a working dryer for a long period of time after your clothes have already finished drying you will get the static from any dryer ball. However, if you stop your dryer or use a setting that is pretty close to how long it takes to dry your items you should not have that concern.I am giving Fluffies Wool Dryer Balls and Joys Marketplace five stars. I planed to buy another set in the near future.

I am very pleased with these! I was a little skeptical, but love them! I put about 7 drops of sweet orange essential oil on 2-3 balls per load and you can lightly smell the essential oils when clothes are dry. No static. The balls are not that loud while in the dryer with clothes. If you want a healthy alternative to dryer sheets this is the way to go hands down!!!! A+P.s. I tried the vinegar & essential oil diy dryer sheets as a healthy alternative to traditional dryer sheets and did not like them. The wool balls was my 2nd try and I haven’t even considered looking for a better alternative. This is it!Oh and after 2 weeks the wool balls are NOT magnets for hair, lint and fuzz. - I thought they might be.

These are a great solution for people who want to get away from chemical laden softeners. They do seem to help the laundry dry in less time, and they wear well, but you don't get the fresh scent, obviously. You can add some essential oils to the balls, to get some scent, but it downs t seem to last very long. I don't notice any hairs/threads/leftovers from these balls on my clothes. I do sometimes feel like there is still some static after using these, but if your main concern is to avoid chemicals, these are great.One suggestion: if you have animals and wash things like towels or blankets that are primarily THEIRS, I would either use something different, or use dryer balls specifically for that purpose. Mine picked up a LOT of hair when I dried our dog towels, then I didn't want to use them with our clothes. I might order some more, and keep my original ones for the animal bedding and towels.

I've completely stopped using fabric softener since using these. I just use a few drops of essential oil on each every other load for a fresh scent. Otherwise my clothes still come out soft. I tend to have bigger loads of laundry, and still only use three out of the 6 dryer balls, and my dryer time is still less than it used to be. But also because of this, I haven't really noticed my clothes coming out wrinkle free, but this isn't a big issue for me.

I love not creating waste via dryer sheets! These wooly spheres really soften up the laundry. The best part is I can add my favorite essential oil scents to the balls and my laundry comes out smelling the way I want! Not some chemical soaked laundry sheet. I add the oils 24 hours before to let them dry in the balls. I haven’t had any trouble with oil-transfer onto my clothes but, I’d go for an early application rather then right before they go into the dryer. I love using lavender, eucalyptus, lemongrass or peppermint oil to create a fresh scent.

I don't see a difference in my clothes being wrinkle free nor being softer.. Also starting to fall apart.

I received these 2 weeks ago and I will never buy dryer sheets again. These balls are wonderful. I use 3 in the dryer in each load and my clothes come out softer than the dryer sheets. I usually put a few drops of lavender or lemon essential oils on a ball and everything smells awesome when they are dry. I like the pouch it comes in with a total of 6. I highly recommend these. There are no chemicals and will not hurt your dryer or anything you dry. If you like essential oils try a few drops. You will be surprised!
