All the glory of the sun!
This is such an important item to be used for any solar array. This MPPT controller locks on fast and really squeezes all the juice out of solar cells. I’ve tested this controller with 25 watt panels and bigger arrays. You always get more power with a good MPPT controller than with either a cut rate MPPT or especially a PWM controller.This controller has many advance features and even allows for LiFePO4 charging. You do need to know how to program parameter for that though. Oh and get either the app and a PC or the MT-50 remote. For my AGM battery, I just use the SLA setting and move on with my life. Easy, effective, affordable.

Functional and easy to use!
I bought one of these to build a solar charger for an off grid water system. We have been using it since April of 2023. We are currently in October. The unit is installed outdoors in a water tight box. Zero issues in 7 months. Charging LiFe batteries off of a 100watt solar panel.

Upgraded Charge controller
I am very pleased with this charge controller. I upgraded from a Renogy PWM charge controller to this Epever 30 amp w/ wifi (I purchased that separately)The switch over was easy - I went from 30A TO 30A.I highly recommend the Wifi or BT addition. I have the Wifi. I am using the cloud (data sent to the cloud in China). It is great for me to be able to see my data where ever I am. in the winter time, I have very little sun light and VERY heavy clouds. It is nice to know when I have to run my generator to charge up my batteries.The wifi and APP are a little bit fiddly, but I think it is manageable for most people.The only question mark for me is how long it will last. If I have any issues, I will be sure to update this review.

What a difference
We have two 6volt batteries on our travel trailer and we purchased one solar panel so we could do some long weekend boondocking. The PWM the solar panel wasn't able to keep up and over the course of a few days. With this MPPT controller I was able to charge my batteries at a much faster rate than with the PWM and keep up with our minimal needs.
