Drain Line Adapter (DLA) with 1/4-inch Quick Connect Fitting for Reverse Osmosis filter (ET109-001, 9-25QC, DLA-9)

This fixtures is perfect for tight space after garbage disposal unit for RO installation.

The design of this adapter is solid in theory, the train line goes to the top above the water trap, so contamination and backflow potential is minimized. It depends on which filter type/design you have whether or not this is even a problem, though.The dripping of the RO filter waste water is very noisy as compared to the janky drilled/collared drains used in the Brondell Circle filter (for example). I needed to drain to a tight garbage disposal drain and couldn't easily fit the collar after a remodel, so this thing works. I think a baffle or a foam insert at the top of the adapter would probably allow enough flow and quiet down the drips, but haven't bothered to try.

I love this option for my Reverse Osmosis water filter system. No need for one of those ugly and often leaky drain saddles. This worked so well and looks good.

The media could not be loaded.  Listen to the attached video. The drain noise has increased compared to the saddle drain it replaced. I don’t recommend this product unless you want to hear endless drain water hitting the trap

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great solution for reverse osmosis owners who also have dishwasher with a high loop instead of a “Air Gap”. As far as noise level, I don’t think there really that much of a difference between the saddle and this product. After installing the disposal, I noticed a reduction in noise overall between my dishwasher and my RO system. So I’m guessing there’s multiple factors that contribute to the noise, not just this product. Either way I’d much rather deal with noise than run the risk of contaminated water being siphoned into my RO system.Overall install was great, I was able to get a really tight and clean fit to conserve space under my sink. I had to cut a couple of the pieces to make them fit perfectly but anyone who has moderate experience doing plumbing knows that to get a clean finish you need to make cuts. It was also cheaper than other options on here and came with the outlet drain pipe, overall great product for the price.

Relatively easy to install. I am an old woman and I was able to do it. Instructions were good. If I had already been familiar with how that all worked, it would have been a piece of cake!

Works great. The RO drain is very loud though, as it falls from the top all the way down to the P trap. You hear it through the sink
