Thumbs up, so far so good
So far, I am happy with the results but it was not easy. I wanted this to retrofit a clock that had stopped (& possibly do the same with other analog clocks in the house). To be clear, at this point the clockworks are doing great. Probably the best review was one with the warning to read instructions since you have to remove a pin to make it work. I would also suggest just handling the clock carefully & upright (in my case where I have pushed its boundaries).I am pleased that this movement is working given that the hands of the clock that I retrofit were longer. However, oddly enough, the problems were with fitting them onto the shaft. The issue is that I didn't want to use the tiny hands that came with the kit (it is obviously intended for making your own clock from scratch). So some of the issues are because I did not find clockworks that could be used for a retrofit. The movement set the time pretty quickly once it was together. This was a relief given some bad reviews & the issue with the hands. So, thumbs up.

High quality clock motor.
The Quartex Atomic Clock motor was easy to install. I had to enlarge the clock cavity to convert from a standard clock motor to the Atomic Clock motor, but after completing that the installation was simple because of the excellent set of directions included. The motor has selection switches for time zone and daylight savings. Having completed the installation, I pulled the zero orientation pin and installed the battery. To my delight, it did it's initial orientation cycle and homed in to the correct time within the first hour. What a treat to have an item that works like it's supposed to. I plan to buy more of these!

Works really well. Picks up time signal very reliably. Be sure to follow instructions and do NOT use lithium batteries.
Works really well. Be sure to follow instructions and do NOT use lithium batteries.I really like this clock movement. It was fairly easy to upgrade my old clock and this thing does a really good job of receiving the atomic clock time signal - even though I'm on the outer edge of the continent (San Diego). I didn't have to carefully aim the clock towards Colorado - I just hung it in the usual location in an interior wall of my house and it picked up the time signal around 9:00 PM. I have an older digital La Crosse atomic clock that usually only picks up a signal every 3rd or 4th night. The instructions say NOT to use lithium batteries and they aren't kidding. I thought I'd try an Energizer lithium AA battery to reduce the risk of batter leakage and maybe get some longer battery life. That was a mistake - the movement started acting all wonky. I took out the lithium battery and replaced it with an alkaline battery and all is well.

Easy to Use
This clock insert is easy to put into the clock and literally sets itself. The one thing to know is it may take up to 24 hours to connect with WWV (the radio time source) and there are some locations in the US that may not receive it at all. This is a government run station located in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Careful not to mistake listed overall projection length as being the threaded shaft length
I should have ordered one with a longer projection (threaded shaft + hand center pin length). I mistook the web page’s listed overall projection length to be the threaded shaft length. I had to rabbit out the back of my wooden clock face in order to get the movement’s threaded shaft to project through the wood enough to get the retaining nut on. The web page does not list the thread shaft length, just the overall projection length.

When it's working it is great. But very un-reliable....
Worked great for 2 weeks, then stopped working. Would not re-set, just stopped at a random time. Replaced battery, would not adjust. Returned to merchant. Hopefully the replacement will be more reliable.....Aug 2020 update - stopped working again. Had to reset multiple times. Looks like I've got to replace it, again....Sep 2020 update - Clock movement is sensitive to battery voltage. Use a fresh Alkaline battery (Duracell works well). Replace every 12 - 13 months, or when movement operates erratically. Depending upon where you live, it may take a week or so to align with WWVB 60 khz radio time signal (transmitter near Ft. Collins, Colorado). If you live in a corner of the country, manually set the time (using button on back of movement), and movement will eventually synchronize. Operating at a frequency of 60 khz, the movement is susceptible to interference from other nearby electrical devices. Also, internal antenna is somewhat directional. If clock movement doesn't synchronize after a few days, try moving the clock to another location.....Oct. 2020. update. Clock stops every couple of days. Have to remove battery, put battery back in and push reset button. What a pain in the A$$......
