We feed our flat-faced 9lb malshi a freezed dried raw diet. Because he has a small mouth, we need to crush his food into smaller pieces which he brings into his mouth by way of his tongue. We initially started him on a cat bowl but he was constantly leaving a mess all over, not of his fault, as he was pushing his food out of his bowl. It was also obvious that he was getting tired of chasing his food around the bowl or not being able to get it on his tongue as those pieces fall over the edge of the bowl. Sometimes, he'd get frustrated and stop eating. We then got him a tilted ceramic bowl which he loved eating out of and we liked that the process was no longer messy. However, cracks started appearing inside the bowl despite it'd never been dropped or roughly handled (it was always washed by hand and left aside, separate from other dishes, for drying) so we discarded it. Luckily I found this bowl. It works just as good as the tilted ceramic bowl, if not better because we could take it on trips and don't have to worry about it breaking every time it is being handled. Lastly, I have also noticed a tiled bowl, in general, helped our fur baby with bloat. He no longer burps after eating.

I bought this bowl because every time my cat ate, he would spill most of his food around his bowl. After investigating and comparing, I decided to buy this one. It is sturdy and easy to clean; if my cat likes it, I wouldn't know, but he eats from it just fine. There is no food wasted, and if there is, it's negligible. I only have three complains: not many colors to choose from, it took a lot of time to reach, and some of the food drops down into the stand (the quantity is still way less than before, but it does drop down there so be careful on how you put it). On a positive note, the seller does answer complains and helps out.

The bowls were made of a material not microwave safe and cheap. Ugly color. Dogs hated it. I paid shipping on the return , so I lost about 80 00. Don't buy from vendors not willing to back their products with free shipping on returns. Legit companies don't have a problem doing this, so stick with them.

The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bowl does slip a little bit when my dog eats, and she is not a voracious eater. If my dog was a more forceful eater, I could see this bowl being easily knocked out of place. Otherwise, it holds in place well enough, it's a pretty color, and it is a nice raised bowl that keeps the food in a position that makes it easier for my short-snouted bulldog puppy to eat.

Great idea the way you can set the bowl at an angle for our flat faced pets (I have a Frenchie). The material is a little soft and our dog wanted to play with it one day. Teeth marks everywhere. Otherwise a great little bowl. Took forever to get here, too.

After going through different dog bowls for the past 11 years, I think this one finally takes the cake. You can easily adjust the angle of the bowl to fit your dog's feeding position. This worked great for my Shih Tzu and did not seem to bother her when I first introduced the bowl to her (she usually gets nervous and paranoid trying out new bowls). The bowl is wide enough for her face and the kibbles fall directly back to the center. No more having to extend her face sniffing around just to find the other kibbles. This also encourages her to finish her food.

Personally, I love the roundness of these bowls, the color, and their Hello-Kitty-cuteness. As it happens, after a time or two, my cat decided plastic bowls are not for her, and just looks at me until I give her a stainless steel bowl. However, I still place it in the stand, because it's the angle that helps her finish more of her food.

Early this month the stray we had taken in got very sick. He couldn't walk let alone sit up and I was desperate to figure out a way to get some dry food in him after feeding him watered down wet food. This was perfect, he was able to lie by the bowl and eat. I think that no matter your pet's needs this will work out perfectly!After weeks of caring for him he is doing so much better nd this bowl was very helpful for him.

I disliked the fact that it took so long by mail which could not be helped. It was ordered to be used as a special cat dish for my Persian, specially designed for cats and dogs who have a flat faces like Persians or french bull dogs... eat so much better with this design. She loves it and does so much better. No longer is food on the floor. I would tell you to go out and buy one if you have a flat faced pet..their whiskers are not being bent trying to eat... it is so much easier for them to access the food too.
