CascadeComplete Powder Dishwasher Detergent, Fresh Scent (155 oz.)

This product is pleasantly scented and works outstanding in our dishwasher. This size box of Cascade isn't offered in our area grocery stores, so being able to get in on Amazon and have it delivered is very handy. We have used Cascade powder dish washing soap for a long time, because it works. We have tried other products and they just aren't as effective at cleaning caked on or hard cleaning challenges.This 155 ounce box is an excellent value. That's 9 pounds of dish washing detergent. For our needs, this will allow us to reorder every 13 to 15 weeks. Considering our local stores often are out of the powder Cascade product, being able to have Amazon deliver this box every 3 to 4 months keeps us stocked with the product we need.The box has been sealed inside of a plastic bag, inside of the shipping box. The seller of this giant sized box has been using the USPS to ship us their Cascade product. While it does take several days longer than Amazon's normal delivery to get to us, we still have been getting the product in plenty of time.Large, economy sized box of a high quality, reliable and trusted product. No wonder we have been getting one of these large boxes 3 or 4 times a year for the last many years.......Sometimes, if the 155 oz box isn't available, we go with the 125 oz size in its place. Both are great deals on a great product. No need to go anywhere else.

So I had been using fryer boil out in my "fryer" for a few years now (yay phosphates) but it seems that they caught on and it isn't available anymore in the standard formula. To anyone that might still be using that in their "fryer" I can say this stuff works just as good if not better than the phosphate formula. It seems to clean just as good but without the annoying residue that I sometimes got with the old product. The only caveat is that I have a water softener and I know phosphates were well known to help with hard water washing so that may be part of the reason that I haven't noticed a drop in performance switching to this new detergent.

Will reorder again.

It seems everyone has gone over to gels or pods these days… but an effective pre-wash is hard to get without the things a good powder can provide…I watched a video on the different ways the different detergent technologies work. As a result, I put a pod in my dishwasher, but also spread about a half-cup of this powder into my dishwasher for the pre-wash… my dishes have never been cleaner - even without the “extra hot water” setting!

Absolutly love this. You get more loads to wash out of the powder vs the pods which are way more expensive. Plus it does an amazing job cleaning the dishes and utensils.

The Cascade Dish washer detergent is wonderful. I would buy this again in a heart bead. But from another vendor. The Cascade was not secured well in the shipping box, with that the shipping box broke open. The Post office taped the shipping box closed. The Cascade box had also busted open spilling the product in the shipping box. I noticed the shipping box was so damaged that I opened it outside, good thing what a mess. I repackaged the Cascade in a container and have been using the product..

It does what it’s supposed to do. Clean.

A powder detergent in a carton box remains the best option from many standpoints. First that you can adjust your dosage based on the load and level of soiling. This aspect in itself reduces the environmental footprint. With a carton box, you also avoid plastic packaging and skip the unnecessary processes needed to make pods.
