More sturdy and effective than other extenders I've tried. These stay in place with the help of a C-shaped that wraps around the bottom of the tray (others sit on the tray with no support underneath).

These work great, just wish they were longer for when your using the longer mat.

This extension is the item I didn't know I needed but I love it!. It fits perfect on my Explore Air 2, its not flimsy at all, I even tried it with a 24 inch mat and it can withstand the weight no problem. It's so affordable and easy to use, a great tool to have.

This mat extender has 2 different configurations, depending on your machine. I chose the wider connection and it works perfectly. It snaps together quickly and comes apart easily.

I work mostly with mats on my Maker. This item does exactly what it says and holds the mat out flat. Very happy with this item, and glad I bought it!
