Malt Ball Centers - Addictive Delicious Malt Ball Crunch Without The Chocolate - Yummy and Innovative Old School Candy (1 Pound)

I have ordered these twice in just a few weeks. They are AMAZING. Fresh, crunchy, and delicious, it's hard to stop eating them. I originally purchased to make David Lebovitz's malted milk ice cream recipe, which calls for regular malted milk balls, but the cheap chocolate coating tastes gross when frozen. While each bag should've been good for about 4 batches of ice cream, I've only made one batch, and I've eaten the rest by themselves. Buy these, now!

I have always loved Whoppers candy, but only for the rewarding malt centers. I 'tolerated' the waxy crap-chocolate just to get to the awesome, crunchy center. These Necco brand malt centers (sans the choco coating) exceeded my expectations. They are very tasty by the handful or thrown over a scoop of ice cream. A very sound confection, indeed.

These are not the same Malt balls that amazon has been selling under this listing for the past year or so. Those malt balls were Necco brand and amazing. These are disgusting, not melt in your mouth and they don’t taste like malt. I honestly can’t even describe the taste. It is stale and leaves this horrible after taste in your mouth. I also think they may be moldy. It’s very disappointing that I would get alerted that a product I have bought several times is back in stock only to discover it is not the same product after purchasing. Every review prior to this one is referencing a diffrent product and should NOT be under this new product. That would be like Saying a Hershey chocolate bar is the same as a Lindt or Godiva chocolate bar since they are both chocolate. That’s not how that works. The ingredients aren’t even the same! This new product should be a new listing with a fresh set of reviews. It’s funny that the name and picture changed after I purchased the product thinking it was the old product. Come on Amazon you can do better. I hope I’m able to get my money back. It’s unfair that I am out 28 bucks on this crap product due to being mislead by the listing and amazon alert.

These were awesome! If you remember back to the 60's, we used to buy Horlick's Malt tablets to eat. These are not as dense, but, have the same flavor. We love them, and don't have to buy chocolate covered versions to get the flavor if malt. Very yummy!

These taste very much like the original malt balls. I coated them with dark chocolate and they tasted great per my husband. I would buy again. They were intact when I received my package.

Way too tempting, yum. Can be used for all sorts of deliciousness. Crush to use as a topping, pop a few in your mouth and let them melt savoring the flavor. Let your imagination fly.

My grandmother always had Horlicks tablets in her car, but I don't think they're around anymore. I do love Whoppers even with the too much chocolate to malt ratio, I was hoping to find something close. Thought I could do maybe a bite of malt ball center then a bite of chocolate thus creating my perfect Whopper? Didn't happen for me. These aren't even Whoppers minus the choc. They are too airy and not malty enough for me. Not spit out as soon as you taste one as another reviewer mentioned, but not what I was hoping for.

OMG this is the most amazing thing I have ever tasted! This thing is very fluffy and sweet. It is the best dessert on its own. I was so afraid after reading the bad reviews but I can assure you it tastes amazing!
