Lots of Issues
Unit was well packaged with Styrofoam all around and locks installed on the X and Y belts to prevent the print head from moving around during shipment. Curiously, the enclosed packing list shows the printer was neither tested or inspected (neither checked off or signed).Unit comes with a Quick Startup Guide which is OK but not great. If you have no experience with 3D printing this guide will not help you. Could not find any real informative manuals online for this printer or any general support. I did eventually find the Chinese website but had to have Google translate into English for me (no English option). However, no information on this printer exists on this site. All I saw was a brief matinee picture of the printer that pops up on their home page but it is not a link to anywhere.Fortunately, the LCD interface is easy to use and pretty much self-explanatory. A definite plus. The functionality I use the most are the heating, extruder movement and print. The heating screen is not really necessary but can save time before you start a print as you can tell it to heat the bed and the extruder at the same time as opposed to starting a print without pre-heating which causes the printer to heat the bed first then after the bed gets at temperature, it'll start heating the extruder. Don't know why it can't heat both at the same time.Could not get Wifi to work which has 2 modes: manual and auto. Auto mode did not seem to do anything – i.e. did not find any networks; and in manual mode I could not enter anything (IP address, password, etc.) – i.e. all fields acted like they were read-only. Nothing in the Quick Startup Guide talks about Wifi support. Perhaps the printer is not actually configured for Wifi functionality? As a workaround I used its SD card to transfer files from the computer to the printer. At some point the printer stopped recognizing files on their SD card yet my PC had no issues reading and writing files. Never figured out why. Just used another SD card I had lying around and had no problems.Did not test the USB interface option as I don't have a computer close by to the printer.Printer comes with no software. So for modeling I used the free version of SketchUp along with its STL plug-in. I then downloaded the Cura slicing software (also free) so I could generate the gcode for the printer. Incidentally, for those wondering why a slicer is program is needed it's so you can specify printer and model parameters such as max build size, print speed, resolution, raft size, fiber diameter, and lots of other settings although most you will not need to change from the Cura defaults. While printing, the filament broke a few times where it enters the extruder. I think this is due to a couple factors: cheap filament and the sharp angle created when the enclosure top is in place. Decided to run it with the top removed and have had no issues since.Changed filament colors a couple times. Unfortunately, the manual control on the LCD display to back out the filament did not work. I could only extrude. Had to use pliers and brute force to remove the old filament. While printing, loud popping is always heard when the print head moves in the Y direction which appears to be caused by the printer's plastic sides. Sounds alarming at first like something is wrong but you get used to it after a while. From the other room I use this noise as an indicator that it's still printing :-/After 4 days of using the printer, it had the equivalent of an epileptic seizure while printing. It looked, felt and sounded like the printer was going to fall apart due to the X positioning motor going haywire. Powered it off and checked freedom of movement for X and Y and both seemed smooth. Powered it back on and all it does now is repeatedly home itself.Needless to say, I'm sending the printer back to Amazon and will find another printer to purchase.

Decent 3D printer
For $500, it's a nice printer. So far, I've just used PLA with it, the weird coral-pink filament it came with, and some other PLA I had around. I haven't tried ABS with it yet.I was a little concerned about the plastic frame, but so far, it seems to have good accuracy with no problems. The cooling fan on the extruder results in far better results than my old Solidoodle 2.Like all current 3D printers I've seen, there's a learning curve, and this one had some issues that prevent me from giving it five stars. To respond to another reviewer, it does come with software and PDF manuals, but they're on the SD card that comes loaded into the printer. Don't try to find these docs on their web site, which is impossible to navigate effectively in English.Their software did not, however, work on my laptop (Windows 7). It tries to launch, but then nothing happens.Instead, I'm using Slic3r, an open source slicer. It's taken me a few tries to get the starting and ending gcode correct, but now I'm satisfied with it.I tried using it via a USB connection to Repetier-host that I used for my Solidoodle, but I never got it to work right. I did not try Wi-Fi. I just use an SDCard. The printer has other quirks. The LCD panel is oriented so that its bottom is to the side of the unit, which makes it hard to read when you're standing in front of it.Internally, the filament spool holder is a little narrow. Some spools fit, some don't. I'm working on a simple external holder so I can set the spool on it next to the left side of the printer, but it's not done yet. At least I had something around that fit other than that above-mentioned coral pink PLA that came with it.Would I buy it again? Probably, since it's a good price.

It is easy to setup
First,i should say this 3D printer just what i want,no matter the appearance design or function.Special for touch screen design.Second,It is easy to setup, and comes with PLA filament, and filament loading is easy. And print the model faster than previous one I had.Third, the glass on the platform can be easily taken out to remove product which is convenient. And the operating interface and manual is good.I will try more samples.I am sure this 3D printer is good for me.
