So, the design is absolutely gorgeous but, if you're using it for cold brew coffee, you might want to think again.I used this to cold brew ground coffee and the coffee grinds slipped right through the holes in the infuser so I ended up with coffee grinds everywhere. It will work for cold brewing coffee if you wrap the coffee grinds in a coffee filter and secure it with a rubber band.This DOES work wonderfully for cold brewing loose iced tea.

Nice design and nice materials, but be aware that this is a smaller volume container. As you can see, the coffee maker tapers at the top. When you subtract the volume taken up by the insert and its contents, you are left with enough coffee for two large cups. Anyway, that's what I get out of it. Which is fine. But if you are looking to make coffee for two or more people, I'd recommend something with more volume.Edit: Broke. Yes, glass is breakable. Now left with the top and filter part & will see if I can find a jar of some kind that those fit in.

I used to cold brew with a large stainless insulated french press. It was effected but I never knew how much was left and if i needed to brew more. Enter the Maya & Ethan model sans handle. The handle gets in the way in a refrigerator and that was a huge selling point for me. The overall diameter of the carafe fits comfortable in my hand and is easy to grip. I love the simplicity of cleaning. I simply tap grinds out in the trash and wash clean for another use. The rubber gasket sealing system is effective and the entire units feels like quality materials.As another reviewer has stated, the stainless mesh insert is made with perhaps more tolerance than needed, yielding some finer grounds to escape into your freshly made cold brew. I grind at home so this was a non issue. I simply grind a little less and go for a more course grind. I plan to get a lot of use out of this setup bouncing between loose leaf teas and cold brew.I included a shot of my messy fridge and how this unit fits with ease. I think the design is spot on.

I love the size and convenience of this brewer. Also the flexibility of brewing tea or coffee if a plus. It seems sturdy and well made as well. Classy looking too.

I had no idea it was so easy to make cold brew coffee but now that I have this it's basically the only thing I drink, if I do drink hot coffee I actually prefer cold brew warmed up. It's SOOO much better! I swear it's like drinking silk. THIS coffee maker is incredible. It makes enough to last me for 3 days (if I only do one cup a day that is), and its so easy to clean! I'm going to get another one to do decaf in so I can have some cold brew to enjoy at night too. I'm telling you this is a game changer!

I love this product so much! My only regret is not getting a bigger one, as my boyfriend now wants cold brew everyday (because of this)! It's clearly well-made and high quality!

Great size for one or two people. I like fresh cold iced tea and this does a great job.
