Recommended - works fine
This light is now installed in our kitchen to replace a fluorescent fixture (w/ 22w & 32w bulbs) that went bad. This LED fixture seems a bit brighter than the fluorescent, which is probably good since I understand that LEDs dim slightly over time. The color is more like "cool white" fluorescent bulbs than "warm white." (In other words, it looks more white rather than yellowish.) This LED light came well packaged and installed easily, and seems well-built (but who really knows). The fluorescent fixture that it replaced only lasted 10 years; I'm hoping for 25 years from this one.

good amount of light in the kitchen. On dimmest setting, is a good night light.Solidly made, not too heavy to hold over your head for installation.With the expected lifetime of LED's, you probably won't have to touch it again.

I installed this in my kitchen about a year and a half ago and the transformer failed today. Could have caused a fire, but I was there when it happened.Update, Contacted Seller and they are sending a new Fixture. They said they hadn't heard of this happening. THANK YOU
