I bought two of these bulbs to try in my bedroom where I sometimes work on my laptop & spend time reading. I have been highly resistant to switch to LED bulbs because I enjoy the saturated warm glow of traditional bulbs that no LED appears capable of truly emulating. I prefer whole home matching bulbs, but since my bedroom is a different color than the rest of the home, in which a whiter LED may be appealing, it is my LED test bulb area. Encouraged by the Norb representation of a broader daylight spectrum & happiness, I decided to give these a try.After 24 hours, I am writing this review and leaving you my initial thoughts, inspired primarily by what I agree with and don’t in the reviews left by others thus far. For comparison, my two lamps have a clear slightly dot frosted glass shade with crystal dangles around them, so it feels like I am getting the whole bulb color experience lying under them — one maybe 3 feet away. One light is close to a window so you can compare its color to outside today in the photos.1. This is an LED cool white colored light. So the question becomes if you think daylight color is more yellow or clear whitish. I think of a bright sunny yellow day or a cooler whiter overcast day. This is a cooler white.2. I do agree a person can probably see colors as truly intended better with this shade vs regular bulbs. Old fashioned yellow bulbs cause higher color saturation which I believe makes skin tones look better, but saturates color more.3. One reviewer said “there is something different with this light.... you can feel it.” I agree. I can compare it when the sun is positioned and shines on my face through the window. I get a bit drowsy, content & relaxed feeling. I love to close my eyes and let the sun shine down. I think that is what I am feeling or some sort of relaxation around the eyes with this light on. It is different.4. The representations about the effect on mood, I will have to use this awhile longer to report back in. I suspicion it will affect people differently depending on their issue with SAD, depression, headaches or Vitamin D. As far as me, I am Vitamin D deficient, so I am a good test subject for that issue. All I know for now is in #3. It’s calming somehow, but weird.5. So far these work fine and no flicker. I am encouraged by the positive reviews on customer service being there if I have an issue like that. I will update.6. As some reviewers have stated like in the basement gym, the brightness level is not high. It seems much lower and less glaring while still being adequately illumination for most spaces. Super bright - no. I like that this LED is not harsh like other bulbs - LED or not.7. One of the reviewers, mentioned his sister suffering headaches from her work lamp lighting that this cured. I am going to see if I have any lessening of headaches with time and update if I form more of an opinion on that. But I can feel less eye strain somehow.8. For the reviewer that said these bulbs create a “happy vibe,” there is definitely a different vibe to it, so if you want to change bad energy or vibes in a room, this is an option to do just that for sure. I will have to use it much longer and update this as far as further opinion with ongoing use.9. I am thus far happy with this purchase in that it feels much different than my traditional bulbs and my other LEDs that are much harsher in a normal bulb way or like UFO beam me up bright. Gotta give these bulbs some time to try to mojo me with “happy vibes,” so we will see.If you have clear expectation of the bulb like I said, I think these are a really great bulb to try for space and condition!

At the start of the pandemic, when we all started working from home, I noticed I started getting daily headaches. It was a friend who introduced me to sunlight bulbs. I'm not a medical practitioner in any way shape or form but these bulbs made a difference in some way for me. When the ones I got died before I expected and I reached out. It was such a hassle free conversation and I got sent my replacements. So if you are wondering if you should get it, do so with no hesitation.

So, I had to give this 4 stars, because it IS everything they advertise it to be. It works well. It is made well.It all comes down to what type of light and atmosphere you feel happiest with in a room. For me, these were too stark white and cold looking. Thus, the loss of one star.I like things bright and sunny during the day and warm and cozy at night. My problem is night just comes too quickly in the winter. If you keep these on during the day, especially on a cloudy day, they will give you a sense of day time inside. It is a very white (with a little blue) stark light, but not as apparent during the day. They were way too cold looking for me at night though, when it finally should be night time and you just want your nice warm cozy space. I don't want it to still be looking like daytime at 9:00 at night. I also don't want to be switching out bulbs 2 times a day.My husband feels that traditional soft white light bulbs are just too yellow at night and harder to see by. Soooo, I think I found a compromise. I purchased four 4,000K 60 watt LED light bulbs. Yes, we have four lamps in our living room. So far, they are a good compromise. They are not stark white, nor are they annoyingly yellow (to satisfy my husband), yet they still seem to satisfy my need for warmer and cozier. Definitely not stark and cold. A little dim, so I may go to a 75 watt bulb. All of these led type bulbs seem much dimmer than regular standard 60 watt, soft white, light bulbs. If I only had one lamp in my living room, this would be a problem and I guess I would be purchasing higher wattages.If you suffer terribly from SAD in the winter and you want it to look like daylight all day long, then these are the bulbs for you! Put them everywhere. Just know, it won't look like the sunshine from a bright sunny cheerie day. It will look more like the bright white light you see when you go outside on a cloudy day, when the clouds block the yellowness of the sun and makes for a very white daylight. Again, all subjective, but those kind of days depress me. (I need the bright yellow sunshine of the sun.) So, I wouldn't want to emulate that look in my home.This review is for the person who may be like me. The kind of person who dislikes a room with no windows and only fluorescent lighting (pretty awful 😞). It may be ultra bright, but for me brightness does not equal the feeling of a warm, bright, sunshiny, summer day. I'd rather paint all my walls a soft pale pastel yellow, which I did, and then create a happy cheerful lighting to create the look of a sunny day and trick the mind. After all, that's what I'm missing most of on those shorter, often cloudy, winter days, with nothing but white light.One caveat, I may use one of these bulbs next to my bed, on a timer, to help me wake up in the morning when the sun rises all too late. Hard to get up and running in the dark. These may be just the dose of bright light I need to jolt out of bed.Again, this light is exactly as advertised, just buy based on the type of lighting and atmosphere you want to create and use where it can best suit your needs.

I'm using 3 in my home office, and the 4th one in my bathroom. Both cases, the light is good and bright. Good color rendering, no warm-up. It's well worth the extra cost to get good LEDs if you spend a lot of time in the same room as them. These are cool white, rather high color temperature. That's good for what I'm using them for.

Way to expensive. Won't buy another one.

It is helping me recover from SAD . This is only the third day of sun in a long time. I am using it to recover from three months of overcast weather with no sunlight.

I have introduced many people to buy this light bulb.Most of the items sent to Taiwan recently are.I suggest that this bulb can be divided into 5000K and 5400K.And can launch enhanced 700nm spectrum to be better and more complete.such as a picture.Because after all, the vast majority of lighting soft panels are yellowish.I looked at the picture and thought it was a 5400K but I received a 5000K.but i still like them.and it's on top of me.Although the bulb is a bit yellowish for my lighting.light bulb is very very good.he can really relax.and has very good color reproduction.Make people feel stable.recommended purchase.I will buy more in the future.Will continue to recommend to friends.
