Different theme to first book
Having read and loved diary of a submissive, I was looking forward to the sequel. I have finished the book in 24 hours so it was definitely easy to read however the theme has definitely changed as have Sophie's relationships. The first book was very much focused on physical submission however the theme in this book is more to do with humiliation and focuses around her new relationship with Adam. It was interesting to read and see how she has settled down and found a balance between the submissive in her and the need to have a conventional relationship.Worth a read especially if you read the first book however don't expect the same intensity as the first one.

Couldn't put it down
I really loved this book, great follow on from A Diary of a Submissive. I loved her relationship with Adam, was so pleased for her that she had found a loving caring person. It was also nice to see that Adam was a completely different dominant than Thomas and James, with Adam the punishments were more physiological than physical(there are physical punishments not no way as harsh). There was also a good balance of everyday life, equality and vanilla and D/s. I like one particular scene where Sophie was his submissive for 24 hours and neither of them liked it, Adam liked that him and Sophie were equals most of the time and didn't like to dominate Sophie like that. Adam could switch from being a loving partner to a dominant very quickly, especially in the scene where Sophie was struggling to come to terms with not orgasming, Adam then took all pressure from her by being dominant.

Excellent
Nice to read a book of D/s sexuality that appears to happen in the real world, where we don't all have our own playrooms! Also makes a change to have the focus on the dynamics of the relationship as much as the play, recognising that kinksters do actually do normal things as well !? Enjoyed it a lot.

Great sequel
I was eagerly awaiting this book after reading Diary of a Submissive and it didn't disappoint. Sophie Morgan's use of humour that I loved in the first book is still present in this one. I loved the developing relationship in this book. As I write this I'm about to start reading it again a sign of a good book for me is that I want to read it again. I would highly recommend this book as well written and a beautiful but sexy love story.

Very erotic
The funny thing about these books is that they make me cringe inside but I enjoy them nonetheless.

Definitely worth the wait
Frank, filthy and funny - everything I'd be waiting for. I'd say that the author's writing is even better in this one. Some lovely laugh out loud moments and plenty to empathise with and relate to if you are of the same vein as her. It's not too erotic, just honest, but I will say that there were several moments during my reading when I was slightly sick with jealously!Loved it, cheers Soph xx
