Good shifter series.....
Really enjoying this series. Unfortunately, I thought Seb was a complete arse for most of the story, although he did finally grow up and I really <3 Tim. Glad the Regent's Park pack is getting to grips with that muppet Newell and P pack...let's hope both packs are merged eventually, and Newell and his cronies are thrown out on their ears in disgrace. The Rogue shifter conundrum still remains though doesn't it....Would like a story for Luke [as he's been there for Nathan and Tim], oh and Alex deserves some happiness too [will we ever really get to the bottom of the feud between him and Nathan??], although I suspect that someone will be chucked out of P pack shortly....well, suits me cos a) he's too good for them and b) Newell set him up to take the blame for everything and that's not right. 4 stars, and thanks Annabelle!!

Wonderfully fun and sexy sequel
The second book in the Regents Park Pack series. This one concentrates on Jared's best friend Sebastian and the pack's doctor, Tim.Seb has some deeply-held beliefs (and prejudices) about shifters and while Happy for his friend, he doesn't want the same for himself. Tim wants a mate and a bond but hasn't found anyone yet. But when rogue shifters seem to linger around Jared's old flat that Seb now lives in, it's decided that the pair should pretend to be boyfriends to provide Seb some much-needed protection. But then feelings start to complicate things and bot Seb and Tim need to re-evaluate what they want. This was fun and exciting from start to finish. As we've come to expect from Ms Jacobs' books, there's tons of scorching sex but also these guys have a lot of emotional depth to their characters. The pack structure and some of the characters in it were also mire prominent here and brought a nice background to the story. A worthy sequel to Bitten By Mistake, definitely goes on my re-read shelf.

Soooooo good!
4.5 stars. Another brilliant book in the Regents Park Pack series! Loved this one.Book two in this series follows Tim and Seb whilst also catching up with all the other characters from book one particularly Nathan and Jared. Tim is the packs mild mannered doctor and Seb is Jared's best friend. Now I must admit Seb just got on my nerves at the beginning of this book, I felt his reasoning for disliking shifters based on what he saw Jared go through in book one is weak at best and he continually hurt Tim. However, I did warm up to him as the story went on and he started to accept their connection for what it was. I absolutely loved Tim he's so kind, caring and good tempered until someone threatens Seb then he's all grisly, teeth baring, scary possessive shifter and it's fabulous!'The growl he got in response made him look up. Tim stared back at him, lips parted and a hint of fang peeking out. Seb went hot all over. For a split second, he wondered how it would feel to have those teeth sink into his skin, claiming him…'The book starts with Seb getting his front door scratched threateningly subsequently leading to Jared falling down the stairs in drunken fear and breaking his ankle. As a solution Alec one of the packs betas suggests Tim and Seb play fake boyfriends so Tim can protect Seb. As with book one one thing leads to another and they start having lots of hot nookie. Seb continues to be reluctant however to making any formal commitment.“I’m not sure I can pretend to be with you and not fall in love with you for real.”Secondary characters are brilliant as with book one and it's great to check in with them all. Mean old Alpha Newell from p-pack is back to his evil ways in this book and there's more rogue shifters to deal with.“I don’t just like you, Sebastian.” Tim stood up quickly, making his chair screech across the floor. “I love you. I would give anything for you to ask me to bite you, to have you as my bonded mate. There’s nothing I want more. But only if you love me back, not because you feel you have no other option.”Once Seb and Tim embrace their love this book gets oh so sweet and their love is lovely to read. I can't wait for which pairing I'll be reading about next in book three!

Bitten By Mistake was one of my favourite reads from last year and and after meeting Seb and Tim and getting to see that attraction in BBM I couldn't wait to get my teeth into this one. This did not disappoint. We get action, sexy times, tenderness, answers to some questions lingering from BBM and another fabulous story from Annabelle Jacobs. Is book 3 ready yet?....

Brilliant follow up to this shifter series
I don't know what it is about Annabelle Jacobs' shifters but they just totally work for me. I think it's the fact that while they have bonded mates, they're not the insta love type I've read in other books which sometimes just feel a bit like a plot point. Here, with the Regent's Park series, the bonding comes when a pair are already sexually involved and its instant, whether they want it or not but it also doesn't automatically come with the person being bitten turning into a full shifter.I also like the fact these books are set in London, although there's not really a lot of extraneous detail given to enforced that plot point, but the mention of Tesco Express always makes me laugh (although I'm a Sainsbury's girl myself). The sex in these, driven as it is by hot wolf hormones, is always superbly done, there's nothing better than reading about two men who can't keep their hands off each other. Throw in emotional connections which allow them to sense their mate's thoughts and feelings and it just becomes all ends up awesome.Really hoping book three will see Alpha Newall get his just deserts as painfully as possible and perhaps there's a wee spark between Alec and the rival pack's young gun Mark which we'll be reading about soon.
