Volume button fixed
As other reviewers have stated, the case fits well, cutouts are nicely done, and it provides better grip to a slippery phone (the back of the G5+ is too smooth). My only fault with the case is that I need to remove it if I want to take a screenshot (Vol Down + Power). The cover isn't cut-out around the volume buttons so attempting a screenshot simply turns the volume up on the phone. The volume button on the phone is a long rocker but the case tries to make it 2 buttons. I cut-out the indented divider piece that was affecting the volume rocker and it works fine now.It ain't a pretty fix but it works :)Designers: either cut-out the indentation or make the volume cover similar to the phone's rocker button.

Not anti-slip, no protection
Super slippery case, not "Anti-slip". Edges are glossy, super smooth and slick. Back has a slight finish to it, but not that rubbery/grippy feel I was looking for. Cased phone slides right in and out of my shirt pocket. Which is what it did, right onto concrete. Flat concrete so no chance the glass hit first, it hit a corner. No protection. Case looks beautiful, even the corner it fell on. Moto G5 Plus glass is shattered. See picture. So, no anti-slip as advertised, failed to protect phone at all. Would give zero stars if possible.

The volume & on buttons could have worked better. What I did was cut longitudinally with an xacto knife to free up travel on the buttons, it worked well & it's neat. Do not cut between the volume & on button.

A Very Well Made Case, You Won't Go Wrong...
I normally don't bother leaving reviews of products I purchase from Amazon, but this is an exception cause it's a testament to how good this product is. I normally don't bother with cases for my phone, I go with a nude device as they say. However after accidentally banging up a really nice Android device just recently I swapped it out via in store warranty. The new device is slick metal and plastic, only exacerbating my fears of accidentally dropping it. Add to that that my new device has a significantly protruding camera bump which I'm putting my device down on each time I set it on a table or other surface. This case may not look like much but it's plyable making it a breeze to get on, snug so that it stays on. For the Moto G5+ at least the cut outs for the camera and various ports are all there and exact, with no interference (something I've dealt with on other devices). I purchased the black case and its fundamentally has changed my device's appearance from a nice stock silver to a sleek looking black. The back is a rough matte finish making it now much more confident when using it one handed. The sides wrapping around the device transition to a slick glossy shine and attention to detail. Aside from the cut outs for the various ports and openings, if I didn't know this was a case I'd probably think that Moto had introduced the G5 in a jet black rugged edition. This is a very well made and fitting case, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Beware the Volume Buttons
First let me say that i like Cimo cases generally. They look and fit nice. This case fits nice and I love the way that it exactly fits the protrusion that is the camera lens in the Moto g5 plus. However, as others have mentioned, the up / down volume buttons on this case need some reworking. Often (and usually at the worst time) the up button will actually decrease the phone's volume. By removing the case one finds that the phone works as expected. But with this case just doesn't push the volume buttons correctly.I like cases that cover and protect the buttons, which is one of the reasons I bought this one instead of one with cut outs. I have owned other Cimo cases that work perfectly in this regard. This case, alas, can just cause you great annoyance with this one defect.

This case is inexpensive and feels alright to the touch. I can't give it one star, as it is technically doing it's job well, but the buttons on the side are absolute trash. The G5 Plus buttons were already "mushy" to begin with, but the hard/static feel of the buttons on this case make it that much worse. I couldn't tell if the button was actually pressed or not without looking at the screen for confirmation, even if my life depended on it. I would recommend finding an alternate case... unless you like not knowing if your button is pressed enough to register or not. It would be a great case if you don't want the button to be easily pushed... if that is some how something that is typically a "need" for someone.

Could be worse
This isn't a bad case, especially considering the price, but it's not great. It's just a flexible piece of rubber, essentially. It does have a raised lip around the edge of the screen and the camera, but it's flexible enough that it won't stand up to a lot of jostling. It pops on very easily and quickly, which means it also pops off pretty easily. The fit is very precise, but the material feels cheap and is a bit slippery. It also has a raised line around the edge that looks like the seam from the injection molding process. So it's better than nothing, but I'm still waiting for Otterbox to make a case for this phone.
