Be aware that while the product name states "1L" and the description says not to fill beyond .7 L, the packaging for this kettles states, "PRACTICAL CAPACITY 0.6L".1L to .7L to .6L converts to 4.22, 2.95, and 2.53 cups respectively. This won't do the job for us. Returning for refund. I'm giving 3 stars simply because not having removed the plastic bag packaging, I cannot comment on the heating, pouring, etc.Do check the dimensions as well, I failed to do so and found that the kettle looks like a tiny watering can on my normal size gas range.

Update:Had to throw it away today. Unfortunately, condensation gradually gathered in the thermometer until it was filled with water and started getting moldy. I bought another one from a different manufacturer (Japan this time, not China!) that doesn't have a thermometer. Just something else to break.Original review:This little kettle is great for making pour-over coffee. It holds enough water that I can make two big mugs at a time. The handle and spout are expertly designed for holding and pouring. Best of all is the thermometer that has the perfect temperature range for coffee highlighted, so I know exactly when to take it off the stove. Plus, it's cute!

Item arrived Thursday morning, was used Thursday and Friday, on Saturday it no longer worked. Wasn't roughly handled, just sat empty on my stove. Very disappointing, going back.

I love this little pouring pot. So easy to use with my Chemex coffee maker. Ergonomic handle stays cool and secure in your hand & the pot allows you to heat water to the perfect pouring temperature (very important for pour-over coffee making; temp must be below boiling temp for good tasting coffee) & it heats up very quickly. Very happy with this product!

I like the temperature gauge on top, takes the guesswork out of making pour over coffee. Perfect for using with the Hario coffee dripper. The Brulux kettle looks very similar to the Hario kettle, but is five dollars cheaper, and it measures the temperature of the hot water.

I recently got this and I love it! The kettle is pretty resistant, the thermometer is really convenient for both coffee and tea and the gooseneck helps a lot when brewing coffee. I honestly think it's a great value for the price you pay and I would recommend this to anybody. I use it for brewing coffee mostly but also tea. Bear in mind that it's not a big kettle and it will only fit 1 litre.

I have a small kitchen and I was so pleased with the size. It works great and I am happy with my purchase. I use it for matcha green tea rather than coffee.

This little pour over pot is the perfect size for single servings of coffee. The thermometer is great, and I never burn my coffee anymore (I never knew just how much of a difference it actually makes!). The size, shape, and design are all perfect.
