Highly Pleased.....
I have had it for two weeks and have put this tablet to the test. Remember what it is and the cost and judge by that standard. Read the instructions. BEFORE using, charge FULLY. There is not a light showing charging status, just press the power button and it will show on the screen charging status. When FULLY charged, hold the power button until the screen comes on, maybe count to 8 or so. Next go into the settings and adjust, you will need to do this for optimal performance. I then downloaded apps and did not have a problem with any. Playing Candy Crush it ran smoothly. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and CBS ran smoothly. Google Ask worked perfectly and quickly. Remember this is android so make sure your apps are for android. The speakers are very low, you will need a headset or small speakers if you would like to watch shows. The camera is terrible, but I didn't expect much in that area for the cost. They should just loose the camera and use that space for something else. The screen is clear and easy on the eyes totally acceptable for me. If you want a true HD screen then go pay for it on another device but you will pay. Many of the negative reviews come across as some people didn't really understand how to use this device properly. With electronics, there will always be some which are DOA, it happens. Playing Candy Crush, browsing, loading apps, reading emails, ect my charge went for 4 hours. Kindle books loaded fast and very readable. I was actually surprised at how great movies played. I am very very pleased. Instructions state: Do NOT use when charging, disconnect from charger before using.

ProntoTec? Quickly done.
First off, before I get into the exact specs and doo-da of this tablet, let me begin this review by saying that it is a cheaply made tablet with decent speed and decent specs. Now, onto my review-Upon opening the box, you get standard accessories for a tablet, which is a USB dongle, a charger (except this charger was really cheap feeling), a booklet, and of course, the tablet itself. The ProntoTec 9 inch is honestly a little larger than 9 inches and bordering is limited, which I thought was cool. The tablet itself is very lightweight, and the back of it is made of a really cheap plastic. Certainly, I wouldn't expect state of the art, but I've bought Proscans, Coby Kyros and even AlldayMall tablets and they have a distinctive quality that's far superior to this tablet overall. The screen resolution is poor; and I found that glare was a big problem for me unless I turned off the light. The other thing that's wrong with it is it lacks contrast. Colors don't look vibrant nor crisp, but very washed as if the brightness is turned all the way up and the black levels were altered to a semi-gray setting. What I will credit this tablet with, is the fact that it's able to play many games flawlessly. Games like Candy Crush, wordament, Snap attack and others worked wonderfully. The sound's a bit on the low side. Not in quality, but it literally sounds very low even when the volume's full blast. Finally, the biggest culprit is the charger and the fact that this tablet after 3 days old didn't hold a charge. Instead, I'm assuming the connection for the charger disconnected and in order to charge it via the charger, you'd have to hold it at a specific angle. No good.If you're thinking of buying a cheap, big tablet, then do yourself a favor and look up a Dragon Touch (which goes for around 55 dollars), All day Mall (which is 40 plus) or Proscan (which are pretty good).Pros-Large screen.Has Google Play.Works good with games.Lightweight.Price.Cons-Charger input is cheaply made and susceptible to disconnecting. (however, you're probably able to charge it via usb cable)Screen resolution is on the really low end. Washed colors and lack of contrast. Is cheaply made.Low sound. Not good for playing videos or games with volume.

Not top shelf but a decent Tablet with no warranty or customer support.
It's a cheap tablet but works surprisingly well, for $59! This was my first tablet with Android and I'm really enjoying it. I've owned for a couple of months. It makes cruising the web so much faster and the pics are great. There is no warranty with this thing....just a 30 day.. The booklet that comes with it was not that informative. Had a freeze problem with the screen one day. Didn't have a clue what to do. Thought it had crapped out on me and got a little crazy violent with the thing.....dropped a couple of times, smacked it...you know typical dude stuff...something's loose..maybe if I beat the crap out of it...!.? I was prepared to destroy the tablet to get a little guy thing satisfaction in my anger. It would turn on and you could adjust the volume. This happened after the power company swapped meters causing a surge while I had it charging. Well before trashing the thing I was trying to calm myself and was trying to figure out what was wrong..maybe there is some kind of reset button....hmmm I examined the back and noticed a tiny hole. I went and got a paperclip and inserted it in e hole and Voila! It rebooted and the tablet was functioning again! The booklet didn't mention the reboot hole!? Lesson learned! When you charge use a powers strip. Never use ammonia or alcohol to clean the screen. Get a dummies book on Android Tablets if you are a rookie. Maybe even buy a special cleaner and cloth for the screen. Good luck!

Nice at a good price!
Nice unit with a lot of open standard features and interfaces, hooked it up to a Kamor 9" keyboard protective case and it make a great gift for my Mom this Christmas. I installed some Google apps and Avast anti-virus software and had no problems, the unit is solid and has a crisp display and good screen response. Oh and yea my Mom will get a kick out of it being Pink ;)
