Cream of buckwheat cereal
A nice bland hot cereal. Flavor it your way?!Something different from oatmeal, and gluten free. I liked the texture reminds me of grits. Cooks quickly in microwave, don't overcook if you like some snap to it

Great, very healthy cereal. Great price. They come in a 5 pack which I prefer.
Inexpensive, healthy, especially great with berries.Good find at Whole Foods. Recommended for kidney health and so much more. Look it up on Google, check out the description, they say it’s one of the super foods.

good product - gluten free
It is hard for me to find gluten-free hot cereals and this one is great. I love cooked buckwheat. I think I need to cook it longer than the instructions say because it isn't quite "soft" enough all the way through for me. But it is especially nice when gluten-free is medically required, and great for the cold winter months coming up. I like to put frozen berries in before I ever cook it -- berries or any kind of fruit are a tasty addition and add color to the breakfast table.

Was hesitant to try but now I love it!
My Dr. ,who is from Denmark, recommended this to me . She said it's a commonly used grain in Europe because of it's nutritional benefits Being used to grits, and because she said 'it's good for you' , I thought it would taste 'funny'. I was wrong! Now I eat it often. Great flavor and texture and versatile.-casserols losts of ways you can prepare and foods you can pair with it. I am diabetic and usually paiar it with a protien and it works well for me.

Miracle food
"The ingestion of whole grains and legumes may cause diminution of postprandial glycemia not only at the meal in which they were consumed but also at subsequent meals." Miracle food, I fed husband barley for lunch and buckwheat for dinner and we saw a great fasting blood glucose the next morning. We tried keto but our doctor hates his blood lipid test results. I don't care..... low triglycerides and high HDL are important to me. I have added beans, lentils and now un-milled grains to our diet. We like the diet much better then strict keto. Foreigners load some wonderful lentil recipes on Utube. Over cooking can ruin the effect. I stick leftovers in a small double boiler, bowl and all to re-heat. I make this with 1 cup water 1/4 heavy cream. Serve it with stevia, chopped nuts, heavy cream and blueberries.....yum!
