Very good.
Good quality material and well made. Possibly come up slightly larger than sized so you may want to consider a size down when purchasing.

Good quality
As a 32 waist in Jean's I can say a 32 in a kilt is a tight fit as in it don't and fits a size 30 waist. I'd recommend ordering a size bigger than your true fit

I'm a kilt convert!
I decided to order this kilt to wear initially to a festival, on the grounds that it would be more comfortable in changeable weather than potentially wet clingy trousers (as I have experienced in previous years). Also, I thought it might look quite cool. I have yet to confirm the weather experience, but I already think it looks pretty good, and it's very comfortable to wear. I think the Scots have definitely got the right idea here - although I don't think I'll necessarily be wearing it to work!If you're thinking of buying one though, don't just order it by the same size as your trousers (as I tried to do, before I spoke to the incredibly helpful people at The Scotland Kilt company). For a start, trouser sizes which claim to be a certain measurement in inches can vary dramatically from shop to shop. I have trousers claiming to be of the same size, some of which are snug, and some of which I can leave facing the wrong way if I turn around too quickly. Also, a kilt is worn with the waistband around the navel, not just above the hips (or around your thighs, if you wear your trousers like that). Forget everything you know about your trousers - get a tape measure, stand up straight, and measure around your waist at navel height. Despite all my trousers being size 34, and all fitting well (some of them are even loose) I ended up ordering a 36 kilt, on the advice of the people at The Scotland Kilt company, and it fits like a glove. A big, pleated, heavy cotton glove, with pockets. That goes around my waist, and not on my hand.Have I said enough good things about this kilt and the company who supplied it yet? Just do it. If you're thinking about one, and you've got this far, grab life by the bits and shake it. Buy a kilt, and wear it with pride! Also, as a lovely touch, the washing care label on the kilt is fantastic. Machine wash cool, lay flat to dry, iron low, fight conformity, wash dark colours separately.

Disappointed
Does the job, allows me to do the dirty jobs I wouldn't do in my "real" kilts. It is a good fit. However I don't think I'll be wearing in my day to day life, why?The aprons are far too narrow, the lower one needs to be at least 4 inches wider, and the top apron a minimum of 4 inches although 6 would be better. This would stop inadvertent "flashing".To be honest I could without the pockets, but the narrow aprons, that is a big disappointment.

Solid, well made, lovely utility kilt
Great fit and really good quality. Heavy cloth, strongly stiched pockets. I'll be buying another of these.

Nice quality Kilt
Mens Utility black kilt ….This is a nice weight kilt, I am new to kilt wearing but decided I would like to try one, I wish I had bought one years ago, most men don’t know how comfortable these are, it just takes a bit of courage to wear one but once you have you won’t look back, this is a very snug fitting kilt and has adjustable straps at the side the only problem I have found is there is no adjustment on the waist you have one set of press studs on each side of the kilt with no others to adjust the waist band slightly so while it fits lovely while standing when sitting mine was a tad tight trouble is next size up was two inches bigger I am hoping it will give a bit the more i wear it, it looks like it will last years, nice fast delivery too…..

Great buy
Bought this for my husband and measured as you would for a kilt not trousers. Fit perfectly and great quality for the price. He wore it within the first week of receiving it.

Great for the money
Well made. Looks good on.I ordered a size bigger than I thought I needed to ensure there was no issue wearing it to a party. However, it was too big and the adjustor straps were already at their smallest size, so I couldn't tighten it up. I used a pair of braces. They held it up. Can't send it back because of alcohol dribbles. Lol.I won't be wearing it again as it is way too big BUT I have to say it was fab. And being a utility kilt, it was the ever useful pocket.Wish I'd ordered a smaller one now. Oh well.
