Kurgo Loft Dog Jacket, Reversible Dog Coat, Wear with Harness or Sweater, Water Resistant, Reflective, Winter Coat for Large Dogs (Ink Blue, L)

My dog is very comfortable in this jacket. It's easy to put on and take off over his head, and the double zipper feature is nice for wearing with different harnesses. Keeps him warm and dry, and he's happy to wear it!

I LOVE this coat, and so does she! It’s fairly easy to put on, slipping over the head, and then is very adjustable with a large Velcro panel at the bottom, with adjustable panels on both side. It’s thin enough to give her good mobility and still does a decent job with warmth. It’s not going to give full belly coverage, but does cover a good portion of it. We had a top harness, and the zip compartment was wonderful for that. Unfortunately, we have an escape artist dog, who now has to wear a “no-pull” harness that has the leash connector at the front of her chest, now posing a problem for some dog clothes. I can still use this coat, it’s only slightly awkward for her and me to put on and walk, as it is pulled from under the coat. I would LOVE for them to also design with a zip or hole at the mid front, for front-hooking harnesses. Only other thing is it seems a bit short, but is still great. The dog loves it now, and it’s been durable. Heavy snow probably requires a more full-bodied heavier coat with more coverage, but even in light snow (it was snowing in these pics), it is an excellent coat, and the color and style fantastic quality.

I ordered this jacket because we couldn’t find his previous jacket and it was getting COLD! We live in central Florida so we don’t have many cold days. My Aussie is a service dog and he has chronic back issues. I always try to keep his back warm during cold weather to keep his back from aching.The jacket is well made. It is lightweight but does keep him warm. The colors are bright and pretty and it makes him easy to see. And his vest fits very well over it.The only issue I have with the jacket is that he hates it. It cuts into his armpits and so every time it goes on, he pouts and throws a little temper tantrum. The tantrum lasts about fifteen seconds but the pouting lasts the entire time the jacket is on. Unfortunately there really isn’t a way for me to modify it it so it fits better.Kurgo always makes a quality product and while this jacket is very well made, it is not a jacket for my dog. Fit has always been an issue for him so we usually have to send a few things back until we get the right fit. We did order the Back Country Jacket by the same company and the belly straps fit further back on the torso and he likes that better. It is more expensive than this jacket but it is lightweight as well and the outer shell is made for rugged terrain and hard core use. It should last forever.If fit is an issue then I would go with the more expensive jacket. The loft jacket will end up getting donated to a local rescue for their fur kids to use. We gotta pass along the love...and the accessories.

We own this in 3 colors and can’t recommend more! It’s lightweight yet durable and warm. It protects again rain and snow but the best part is how easy it is to put on and take off. It fits true to size and more! My dog loves these jackets!

Our new rescue Jeb has gone thru 7 doggies jackets in 3 months. It was hard to find one that the flaps weren’t so long that he was able to chew them. Since it’s cold in So New Mexico and Jeb is short hair and lean I didn’t want him to go in the rain and cold with out being covered. I decided one more jacket and this is the Best . It fits him great and so far no chewing the flaps are thick and attach securely , fitting Jeb nice and snug. This jacket is so well made and reversible. Jeb is a hound long and lean . This is a size L. Jeb sez.. I highly recommend this jacket it has my 🐾🐾 approval.

The media could not be loaded.  This jacket is perfect. My dude is a terrier mix (probably mostly pittie) from Texas. He came up to New England recently and it's been cold out, so he needed something warm. He is a dense 65 pounds, and we got the size Large. I was drawn to this coat because it ends on the chest underneath, compared to lots of other coats, which seem to go pretty far down the belly. The Large ended just above his tail in the back, which was must, because he hates stuff to touch the base his tail. I've had to take in (sew) other jackets that hit his tail or his giblets, but this one didn't hit any of that. This coat is very well made and fits nicely, I'd compare it to a (human) sportcoat, if you need a "Formal" coat for your dog, this one is it.. The rounded bit in the top is slightly firmer than the rest of the coat, so it provides a bit of structure that helps the coat not bunch up. The velcro in the front is actually one of my favorite features. It makes it so I can fasten the coat to fit perfectly around his chest. Cleaning the velcrow off in the future is pretty easy, so I prefer the smooth fit the large velcro patches give to the underside of the coat. This coat is perfect for pitties and other thicc dog breeds like staffies who have large chests and bellies compared to other dogs.

We got a size L for our saluki whippet mix and it fits her well. It's easy to put on and take off, though she was a bit worried about the loud sound of the velcro. If you have a long- haired dog, I could imagine that the velcro might snag in the hair.We like the purple colour and the reflective stripe. It's a medium thickness, not too thick but heels ger warm enough at low temperatures. We've not tested it in proper rain but it held up well during a light shower.

Der Mantel macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Das Material ist angenehm, sehr leicht, die Steppnähte ordentlich und die Wattierung leicht, also gut für die Übergangszeit denke ich. Habe XS bestellt und die Größe passt sehr gut. Könnte am Nacken etwas weicher sein oder eine Aussparung haben, dann würde es etwas lockerer dort sitzen. Unser Chihuahua trägt es aber bereitwillig. Scheint also ok zu sitzen. Er wiegt 3 kg und hat ca. 30 cm Rückenlänge. Der Mantel reicht nicht ganz bis hinten, was ich aber ok finde, da er ihn nicht bei Schnee tragen wird. Hatte danach noch eine andere Farbe bestellt, damit war ich gar nicht zufrieden. Material, Verarbeitung und Halsausschnitt waren nicht wie die erste blaue Variante. Ging also zurück. Sehr schade.
