KenkoNyumon Slim Ring 77mm UV Multi-Coated (MC) Filter, Black, compact (227749)

The best UV filters are the ones you forget are there. We've used this on several shoots so far and it does nothing to change the color coming through the lens. It does make things a bit clearer and adds a tough more contrast, but, that's what it's for.When it comes to filters, features really aren't a thing, but, this one has one feature that is definitely worth mentioning. Most of our screw-on filters are smooth on the rim. This one is not. It is ridged (as seen in the photos). Why does this matter? If you've ever put a filter on in one temperature and tried to remove it in another, they can become next to impossible to unscrew. With this one, getting a grip on the filter is no problem. It is, by far, the best UV filter we've ever owned.

This is a great UV filter. I chose the 58mm filter to fit my Canon T3i. I previously used a Sigma filter, which will now be my back up. I had no problems with my previous filter; however, this Kenko filter is a bit sturdier, and is also very clear, if not clearer. It fits securely on my camera lens, and feels, looks, and operates like it is quality-made. I would purchase this filter again.

A little difficult to attach but they work as expected and have restored perfect focus to my lens.

UV filters aren't really a thing you think about until you need to protect an expensive lens.I shoot with a lot of wide angle lenses and a thin UV filter was needed.This fit the job perfectly, thin, didn't vignette and is color neutral.Very happy

I wish I had known about Kenko nyumon filters sooner. They are quality multi coated filters offered at cost effective price. I've recently used one on my new Fuji 50mm f2. Overall constructionuction is excellent abd coating on the lense appears very good. I would feel comfortable choosing them over B+W or more expensive series of Hoya filters.

This filter has a solid build, threads are strong it seems pretty durable. No complaints about the image, UV filters don’t make much of a difference so not much to judge. Would recommend

I bought this for my Voightlander lens. The glass is crystal clear, threads are smooth and the coating works really well! Theres no reason to take it off!

Expected a new unit, but came used. Came with seals broken on the box and a scratch on the ring and on the edge of the glass. See pictures.

Received the filter with a lengthy smudge along perimeter that could not be removed.
