Doesn't get any better than this! Premium 8 Way Stretch Board Shorts including 4 Purpose designed pockets with beautiful painting of the Fish's side on the thigh. Perfect pocket flap position makes the flap for the cell phone almost invisible! Be the first "kid" on your dock to have these! After his first 20 years of success in retail yacht sales, design, and construction, Dave saw a void in the fishing lure market and decided to fill it with top quality lures at an affordable price. Dave had been building high-quality yachts in China since 2002 and found it only natural to use his contacts and experience in China and his experience in fishing to benefit anglers by designing productive and high quality lures at a lower price than the competition. Since its conception in 2005, Tormenter has expanded its market selling trophy catching products to over 300 accounts in almost every fishing port in the USA, plus Hawaii, Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Tormenter will continue to design and provide superior products at a savings so that you can justify spending a day on the water for both fun and the pursuit of meat.

Nice versatile shorts for on and around the water.
I'm still trying to justify the price, but I'm a sucker for anything redfish and the pattern looks nice. The pockets are nice and seem well thought out. The hidden pocket on the right side is almost too deep, making it harder to retrieve the safe key and cash I stored there on vacation, but has plenty of room. The cell phone pocket is a near perfect fit for my S8+, which is one of the larger phones out there. The left side has a pocket that's perfect for a credit card or swipe room key. They don't keep anything dry when submerged, but did a reasonable job vs small splashes. For the leg length being as long as it is, the freedom of movement is still quite good. I snorkled, kayaked, and transferred boats in heavy surf with no issues. Not having a liner is nice for using them as more traditional shorts, and as long as you buy your actual size (I buy jeans in 36, got a 34 here) and not your waist size with a belt; they stay up quite well when going commando using them for swimming. The material in thin, but not too thin, and the stitching looks good. I will likely use these a lot this summer, and if I have any quality issues I'll follow up. If they hold up well I may suck it up and order a second pair.

Great look but it fades.
I got the black boardshorts with the Mahi Mahi print down each leg. They fit a little tighter than I expected, but not skin tight, and there is just enough stretch that I do not worry about the shorts inhibiting my swimming. I am 6'2" 220 lbs, and no longer in the athletic shape I once was, but not fat yet, and the 34" shorts conformed fairly perfectly to my shape. The leg ends above my knee, but as I have gotten older that has become less important. So, a little tight, and a little short, if that is the look you are going for. They look really nice... well, looked really nice. The contrast was great. But, just as the colors on a Mahi Mahi fade as it dies, so did the colors on the shorts. After just four excursions to the hot tub, and no washing, the black has faded to a dark grey, and the colors of the fish no longer pop. It is still a wearable suit, but it looks old and worn, despite being nearly new, and I am again searching for something else.Perhaps the company will someday use better fabric or dyes, but until then, don't bother, they are not worth the $50; not even close.

High quality and good fit
Fantastic quality shorts. They fit well, are of a decent length (some shorts are just too short), and the pockets seem to be reinforced and ready to take some abuse. They feel almost heavy for board shorts but in a good way. In summary I'd say these are probably my favorite pair of board shorts and I typically wear Pelagic.

Great for use around the house
I discovered Tormenter board shorts while overseas, after our luggage had been delayed and we needed to purchase some clean clothes. I immediately fell in love with the feel and fit of these shorts. The material is light and airy, and great for tropical, or warm, climates. Since I live in a warm climate I decided that I would get some more board shorts, and I was glad to find Tormenter on Amazon. They are great for lounging around the house, running small errands, taking a neighborhood stroll, or enjoying a boat cruise.

Lighter weight, but great shorts
I have worn the waterman shorts for a year and love them so I decided to try these shorts. When they arrived I was scared! These are way lighter and I was afraid they’d cling a little to close to be modest. I was also skeptical about the durability, I’ve had them for a couple weeks of everyday wear and some rough sand and surf. The have done great so far. They don’t cling to you body any more than other shorts and they’re built tough. I love the Mahi sides too. Another winner from Tormenter

Best boardshorts you can find
These are the most practical boardshorts on the market. Every pair of shorts out there have either no pockets or only 1 pocket. These are game changers! The only downside is the limited designs. I'd buy every pattern if it didn't have the fish bones on every one. They just aren't distinct enough to own another pair for me. Still, awesome product! I'll be keeping an eye out for new designs.

Great looking shorts!
These shorts are 1st class beach wear... strong, flexible fabric... perfect length for us 6ft+ guys. Functional pockets. True to size... if anything, just a tad over. Be alerted that the waist band does not stretch... as you might assume from the multi-stretch description.

Comfy fit!
I’ve always struggled with a boardshort that fits comfortably. I finally found this one, and immediately ordered a second! I usually wear a 33, but it was somewhat tight. The 34 fit perfect. The length is to my knees, which I like, and the number of pockets is awesome!
