These novels are so full of likeable characters that I cannot put them down. Ms. Whitten has a crisp style, combined with human interest plots. Her novels are "must reads."

Great story of the importance of the connections we make in life and what an impact they can have. I love how the prestigious U. S. Pretrial Services and Probation system was woven throughput the book!

Easy reading flow, lovable characters that you wish you could meet, and a suspenseful thriller. A Thousand Fibers tackles present problems and confronts the past all while meeting new connections along the way!! Super fun read!!!

The author's skill slowly reveals itself as the story builds. Like with many books, the last quarter went the fastest. 1000 Fibers had a lot of fascinating elements I'd never encountered in a novel before: such as the work of a probation officer and the perspective of someone facing the dementia of a parent. I actually found Gina's super, and I hope the author has a sequel featuring her!

More of a commentary on life than a true adventure or mystery. A feel-good story that we all need now and then.

Ordinary people going out of their way to help and encourage friends old and new...this is a story that puts the chance connections we make into perspective. The problems they encounter are not unusual, but these characters stretch hearts and minds to understand and support each other. We might all try to live like this...
