Kotobukiya ZOIDS Molga AA & Molga Carrier 1/72 Highend Master HMM Model Kit

The Molga is still one of my favorite Zoids, and with the addition of the two included in this box, my collection has some nice variation.Like the Molga & Cannonry Molga set, both of these Molgas, AA & Carrier, include the parts required to build them into their different colored versions of the original Molgas.One surprising thing I noticed, which, thinking back, the Molga & Cannonry Molga had the same issue, is there is a misprint in the instruction booklet. (which is not in English, but is still usable) It tells you to use the wrong 'leg' part when assembling a portion of the tail. (the biggest portion, I think) They included a slip of paper that informs you to swap the piece for the correct one. When I assembled my Molga & Cannonry Molga, I remember thinking that the legs would look slightly better swapped, so I ended up assembling it in the way it was meant to be minus the misprint.Still, awesome model kit series. Requires no glue, but there are a few places I would recommend applying some glue to improve stability, like the two tail 'spikes' and where the wheels connect to the chassis.

After roughly a decade of prop replicas and sixth scale figures, I decided it was time for a change of pace. Being a fan of both Zoids and Kotobukiya, I thought whats better than Zoids with Kotobukiya quality and detail. I have to say for my first kit, this one did not dissapoint. Tho molgas are small, you get 2 which makes up the price. Glue is not required but I would reccomend it. The articulation is fantastic. And I know I may offend some purists when I say this but detail far exceeds Tomy. The first one took me about 3 hours, the second one about an hour. I deffinetly reccond this kit. Now hopefully Cannon Tortoise gets here soon.

I got the model kit just after a day of ordering. Came intact and complete. The model was awesome. Brings back memories when I was a child playing with the Tomy version. One thing though this kit is for adult collectors. Kids will need supervisions for building it. Instructions are in japanese which is expected. Becareful when constructing the model it has a ton of small parts that can easily get lost.

さすがコトブキヤさんのZOIDSといったところでしょう。ギミック等もとても丁寧に構成させています。お値段が少し高め？かとも思いますが２匹ついているので納得できないこともないです。２匹ともタイプが違うのもいいですね。とてもかっこよく、そしてかわいいアイテムだと思います。

まさかコトブキヤオリジナルのモルガが出るとは思ってませんでした。モルガAAはサンドブラウンのモルガに対空砲を装備したタイプです。対空砲の可動範囲は広いので色々なポージングができるかと思います。ただしパーツ分割が少なく、砲身から基部までほぼサンドブラウン一色というのが微妙ですね。この辺りは少々手抜きな感じがします。モルガキャリアはHMMモルガでオミットされた腹部コンテナ＆地対空2連装ミサイルが再現されています。腹部をうねらせることは出来なくなりましたが、後ろ3対の脚は左右独立して動かせるようになりました。また、尾部パーツを一部組み替えることでクレーン付きのトレーラータイプにもできます。あと地味な変更ではありますが、以前ではホイール・履帯・脚が全て同じ成型色だったのが、ホイールは紺色、履帯＆脚が黒という風に分かれました。これは2つの色が近いからこそ出来ることですね。その辺りの気配りは嬉しいところです。ちなみにこのモルガキャリア、紺色の通常モルガとしても組むことができます。総評としては、モルガAAの対空砲の色分割さえちゃんとしていれば言うことなしだったと思います。それと公式HPでもアナウンスがありましたが、説明書ではモルガAAの後ろ2つの脚（B6・B7）の取り付け順が逆になっているので要注意です。
