Vinyl strapping is fine, rivets horrible
Two rivets broke after sitting on the new straps for less than two hours. I suggest finding more durable rivets for your chairs. The straps look fine, though, and will hopefully last a long time.

Heavy duty straps
These straps are heavy duty. I cut them the same length as old straps and the hot water soak makes a big difference. Let's see how long they last. But so far they look amazing. My chair had 9 straps.
