Wanted to connect my Raspberry Pi 400 to an old monitor. This was perfect for the job. Output at standard HD resolution (1920x1080) with no problems.The 3.5mm socket was also very useful, as the Pi 400 has no audio out other than via HDMI or bluetooth. Connected my speakers to this, and sound is good, with no distortion. An included 3.5mm cable can be used if your monitor supports this as an input (not had to use this).A micro USB cable is also supplied, and can connect directly to the adapter for power. I haven't used this, and can't see any use for it, unless your HDMI port is not providing enough power for the signal.Be aware, if you are using this with a Raspberry Pi, you need to get the MICRO HDMI version, and not the Mini (I learnt that lesson the hard way)

I needed an adaptor to connect my laptop to an old but functional monitor. I often have to draw design drawings and find it hard on a smaller laptop screen. After a bit of research and checking the previous comments, this adaptor did exactly what I wanted. Saves me squinting my eyes on the smaller screen. Also comes with a handy audio cable, (which I didn't need).

Item itself looks to be good quality but not what’s said on the box. Ordered a micro HDMI to VGA converter and it says it on the box too but inside is a standard HDMI to VGA. Good think I had another backup laptop for my remote workers. Very disappointing and will have to be returned.

Arrived promptly. Worked first time. Compact and cheaper than Lenovo's own adapter.
