Mass Effect: Andromeda: Prima Collector's Edition Guide

Hard Cover DLC in an Uncanny Valley of breathtaking world destruction and space magic too.
I collect these Prima Guides just for kicks, as it's always a blast to go back and look at them years later. The Counter-Strike ones for Xbox are some of my favorites.Anyways, quick rundown on this one:1: Very well done hardcover edition with thick and adhesive, but not noticeable glue keeping everything tight.2: Lots of information, and lots of art that otherwise wouldn't be seen without this edition being released to look at in here as well.3: As far as strategy, I don't know. I have 3,500 hours in ME3 MP and jumped right into the MP of this version too, so it was easier to pick up than riding a bicycle.4: And my favorite surprise- The book comes with a download code for a digital version of the entire guide, in addition to interactive maps for use with the SP versions of the game with the Nomad, I assume. What you also receive when you redeem that download code is another Product Code to redeem directly through Origin, and that code hooks you up with a free deluxe edition expert pack (or some silly name like that). Anything for that manifest, right? right. Is it worth paying retail($40)? No.Is it worth paying what I did($25)? No. Unless you're a collector or a completionist such as myself, you don't need this for any reason other than the code.Hope that helps.By the way, always looking to help new faces make their way through (for now) Gold. Add me on Origin if you'd like! Origin ID - reevoluti0nPeace!

A great guide!
I'm not really understanding the issues people are having with this guide. The code for the digital guide is under the insert at the back of the guide once you unwrap it. You redeem it on Prima. Also, you will pick your platform of choice to get the code for the item that came with the guide as well. Nothing that hard about it. The hardest part was resetting my Prima password because it's not something I used a lot in the past. The guide itself is great. It's a good looking guide with a lot of detailed information and help. Normally I shy away from Prima guides but this one was a lot better than that awful Dark Souls 3 guide they released a while back. So far it has been useful in answering any questions I've had. The layout is solid and the artwork is good. The sections are broken down well and I haven't had any issues navigating it at all. The eGuide is a nice little bonus as well and breaks down the missions seamlessly. I highly recommend it.

Guide us well done but not organized well
First before going into my review I'd like to say that I've bought many guides from Prima and they are always hit or miss. Mass Effect 3 guide was okay but not great. Dark Souls 3 guide was bad, ive been burned many times and so take that how you want for my review score. When I first opened the package I was pleased to see the guide is monstrous and looks well put together. For a game this large the guide needs to be just as large. There is an insane amount of information in the guide and Ill admit I have not read through all of it yet. Below I'll summarizes pros and cons:Pros- a lot of informstion. The guide covers all side quests, enemies and allies, guns and armor, ability descriptions, recommended builds, multiplayer overview, priority ops and secondary quest walkthroughs and so much more.- well put together. Hard cover binding looks good and page are quality. Art section in the back is a plus.- e-guide us actually complements it well as the book is difficult to find what you need unless you really know where to look.-Maps are basic but easy to read- the walkthroughs are not as detailed as I'd like but they do reference other sections of the book for additional tips. For example it may tell you to take out the enemies but not actually how to beat them. But then will reference the enemies/boss section for more detailed tips.-i enjoyed reading the bioware developer interviews. This is a welcome addition to get a feel for how much work actually went into the game and the pain points for the developers.- I feel like some of the inaccuracies in the guide are due to random gltiches in the game. For example some quests were simply broken and I had to reload to get it to work right.Cons- organized poorly. A book this massive needs at least a more detailed table of contents so you can figure out where to find the information you need more quickly. This is somewhat mitigated by the e-guide as you can do more searches and it's actually laid out much easier with menus etc.- secondary quests are organized in alphabetical order. This doesn't sound too bad at first until you realize just how many quests there are and it is not clear there is actually a table of contents summary for this section. There is one massive mistake in the book and that is the main table of contents lists secondary ops starting page 184, but it is really 164. This is a massive mistake because 164 is where you find the table of contents for the seconary ops, which makes them much easier to navigate. Once I found the table of contents for this it's much easier to figure out but I could see how it would be easy to miss if someone did not actually read through the beginning pages of this section.- weapons and armor section does not present detailed stats. It's more just enough so you understand the basic difference between each piece.Final ThoughtsThe information in the guide is actually pretty good, if you can find it. I'd recommend actually reading the first few pages of each section to get a feel for how it is laid out. The secondary quests table of contents was huge. Bookmark this page as soon as you find it as you'll need to reference it often. They obviously spent a lot of time with this guide and it's definitely worth getting for a collector. If you just need help with the game it's better to read the basics chapter and use it more like a book to learn about how the game works before playing further.

amazing book, nice for those who love collect this ...
amazing book, nice for those who love collect this kind of book, ist very fat and wide, good illustration. And about the guide it's amazing if you want to do a quest is very easy to reed, have very good information and tips inside the book, and its will be a great help if you are in a place without internet. BTW the online guide its very good also, and make worthy the price of the guide if you don't want to lose too much time looking for a key word only with your eyes ( i mean ctrl+f : key word inside the guide and bang).

Worth the money
Guide itself is like a Harry Potter book so is full of useful information. I got the eguide code and booster pack so the downfall is u only get 5x booster XP but no weapons or mod or armor for multiplayer. I gave the eguide to my friend so we can both benefit from it. And with 200 pages dedicated to side missions I'm loving this guide. I only wish the weapons chart had number along the bar so u can fully compare it to others of the same class. Other than that I honestly recommen this guide

Fun game lots of different ways to play it
Fun game lots of different ways to play it .i e got two hundred hours in and still am getting new cutscenes . Critics complain and nitpick every minor fault with this game, even my video game adverse wife likes the remnant vault puzzles. The side quests don't feel like fetch quests, even though they are. Sometimes I'll just stop the Nomad and get out and wonder at the breathtaking scenery. There's a low gravity asteroid you get to do huge jumps and your teammates freak out or laugh when you pull off an utterly impossible jump. There are so many iterations to dispatch enemies.. the replay value is high.

A well made strong and sturdy guide..
This is a very nice addition to my other collection of guides. The time spent in the details of the main and secondary missions is astounding. The art work is beautifully done with detail that I've come to expect form these guides. There is a few extras that are nice, DLC for the multi player side of the game and a code for the ebook version, a very help full addition. Their is said to be over 100 hours to this game so this guide will be godsend. It's is well made, strong and sturdy although it is on the heavy side, this is the only draw back I can see, but the ebook makes up for it. If you are like me and enjoy a little read before bedtime then the ebook is amazing. Word for word and picture for picture, it's all their, in a second handy device. All in all well worth the money, and five stars.

Oltre ogni aspettativa
Pienamente soddisfatto dell’acquisto.

Extremadamente completa, buena calidad
