Works well. Saves me from burning my fingers when removing bar pans, pizza pans, broiler pans, and baking dishes from my large toaster oven. This grips very securely. I would give it 5 stars except that I did notice that it did cause some damage to the coating on the broiler pan when I used it. I have to be more careful next time I use it with that pan. All in all, a good purchase that I would recommend to anyone who uses a toaster oven for more than just toast. These seem to be well constructed and I expect them to last for several years with regular use. They are also quite easy to clean with regular soap and water and they fit easily in my kitchen utensil draw when closed for storage. One set is hood for pizza pans up to 12" in diameter. It may be necessary to use more than one set to remove larger or heavier items.

I have found this a useful gripper for the past two years. I originally purchased it because I had an Instant Pot, and I thought it would be useful for lifting out the hot inner pot when in the midst of pressure cooking. That has not been the issue I worried it would be. But the gripper served me well when I needed it. I got a Cuisinart TOA-60 Air Fryer, and the gripper has been indispensable to use to remove the rack from the Air Fryer when it is very hot. I’ve been very happy. However, in the last two weeks, one of the rubber grippers has been popping off of the tool, just when I am trying to get food out of the Air Fryer.When I purchased this, I didn’t choose the least expensive gripper, figuring I’d probably only have to buy one of these for a very long time. I am disappointed it hasn’t proven more durable.

This tool is very helpful getting your cookware out of the microwave. It is much better than using oven mitts. I also find this tool very helpful when getting cookware out of the oven. I docked 1 star because it did slip off some of my bowls that had gravy in it...I think it has to do with the material on the inside of the clamp. I have bought 2 of these & do NOT regret it at all!

I have square glass snapware that I use to heat up food in the microwave, w/o the cover, and this hot plate grabber works great for removing the container. No more cooking in plastic! I have used it to grab the aluminum container that I sometimes cook in, out of the halogen oven too. I always try to use a hot pad under the container, once I remove it from the oven, for balance and safe transport to the counter top. I've had it a couple of months, and no issues. I clean it off right away to remove any food that gets on it from getting a good grip (like in my scalloped potatoes). I'm happy with it.

This works great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it didn't work with the spring form pan that I purchased for my Instant Pot.

I wanted to get a new pan gripper for work and thought this just might work. Well, sad to say it did not.It's not horrible, but the spring did break after only a few hours of use. It also cannot grab lined pans very well.If you need it for screens or pizza trays, or things that are flat, it should be fine. Just be gentle with it.I won't be buying one of these again though.

These work pretty good. They take a little extra strength in your hands and I'd not recommend trying to use them if you have arthritis. They serve their purpose though

The tips of the grip do not meet. I have probably a 2mm gap. This enables it to slip. The first time I used it on my instant pot it was great. Twice since them, the gripper has slipped and a rubber pad has fallen into my soup. It could result in an accident.
