PUR Water Filter Replacement-Procter and Gamble Water Filter Cartridge, (3 Pack) Replacement Cartridges

Ordered these expecting MAXION filters as advertised in the picture. Instead received a package that was taped together at the seems. The filters were not MAXION as the picture shows but what I guess are the standard style. The weight felt light and when you shake them they sound like maracas.I opened one and immediately noticed what I guess is filter material on the OUTSIDE of the filter. No PUR markings at all. I’ve been buying these from SAMs club until they stopped carrying them, so I’m very familiar with the product. Sending these back for a refund.

Be sure to get the 3-stage RF-9999 version (Pur makes a cheaper filter for their same faucet units, but don't filter out as many biologicals or chemicals). Don't save money on pollutants.I had a full 7-stage reverse osmosis, ultra-violet system on the water intake on my last house to purify ALL water entering the house & still used one of these to assure that any particulate material already in the house's pipes. I now live in an apartment & am using these until I can install a 5-stage under-sink reverse-osmosis system.Note: I live in Jacksonville, FL a city that ranks in the top 10 for municipal water chemical & biological toxicity in the country.Note 2: Don't trust your own deep well water unless you have it tested regularly. There is just too much contamination of America's water table - especially with the 150 or so chemicals, many carcinogenic, used in fracking & the runoffs from agriculture & industry.

Never have we had a problem when purchasing these at out local store. With these, they look similar, but are not the same color as the ones we buy at the store, but have the same packaging. The first one we opened, we installed as usual and when we ran the water, all of the filter contents poured out into the sink. So right off the bat, money lost. The second one seems to be working ok, but I am concerned as to the authenticity of this product. I will not be ordering these again on Amazon.

I've purchased some of the generic replacements for the PUR faucet filter. The problem with the cheap ones is that they leak (at the screw joint), and they are inconsistent about the amount of back pressure they produce. I had one with so much back pressure that it blew itself off the faucet. These OEM filters cost more, but are less aggravation, and probably filter better than the cheap ones. Water tastes great. Recommended

Replace the order.New filters don’t filter water goes through very fast. I had to go to Walmart to get a box of 3filters.I realize that the filters from buyer on Amazon not filtering water a waste of money.I learned my lesson not to buy on line again.Very disappointing.

Water with this from the sink is much cheaper than buying water in plastic bottles, it's nice and cold and bought it especially for my lil Maltipoo, as she's white and got stains from the corners of her eyes...

didn't fit the filter system from Pur!!!!! Stupid! Money wasted and couldn't even return, because return window was closed when I actually tried to change filter. As I had 1 filter from original package! Don't waste your money! Either this is not original product or I don't know!

I drink more water daily since I switched to a filter from bottles. And I'm no longer contributing to plastic waste!

El filtro que se supone que dura tres meses, a mi me duró una semana. Lo intente varias veces porque compre un paquete de 4 filtros, pero cada uno de los 4 empezó a fallar a la semana de uso. Durante una semana todo bien, y luego empieza a salir tan poca agua, que tardas quince minutos en llenar un vaso de agua. Fue una pésima compra
