Affordable catch can made better with one hack!
I have one on my Colorado that catches a lot of water and oil. Bought this one with factory fittings for our Explorer. Nice part is you can spin off the baffle inside and add stainless filter screens that are cheap. Screens are 1" disc screens. I bought 100 to have. Use needle nose pliers in the holes to easily spin out the baffle, fill it with the screen discs and use the "OUT" port as the inlet and the "IN" port as the outlet. This will trap the gunk in the can and keep it from going into your engine. It also comes with a stainless steel "brillo pad" that sits in the cup for the oil to get stuck in. A good alternative to the over priced $300-500 units. I plan to run one for each bank of the Explorer V6. Comes with metal fittings, not cheap plastic ones like the smaller, but same price unit sold here. Look at my other review of the HRepair catch can sold here for the same price. Total junk and I am returning it to get another one this style.

I’ve had mine almost a year. Haven’t caught anything in the can and now the hose has collapsed

Very easy to install. But not doing any good when hoses collapse. Spend the extra money on a higher quality.

Easy installation..
Had on for a couple months, still need to try it during the winter months. Seems to be working with catching unburnt fuel..

Worked on 2016 F150 2.7L
I installed this on my 2016 F150 2.7L. The downside is that there is no instructions. So you have to look up a YouTube video. The upside is that the kit seemed good quality with the metals and fittings. It has o-rings on the main cup and two inlet fittings. The company looked like they upgraded the hoses after all the complaints. The ones it came with have the internal threads. It took me about 30 mins to install and so far so good. I’ll update in about 1 month.
