Updated Review: These eat Batteries like CRAZY and just stopped working, would not peeve again, even for the low price point($20each) I expected them to work a few years..Original review:These are asthetically pleasing lights for being TRASHY made lights. 1) one of the fixtures was broken off the backplate. Because it's inset into the backplate I decided it's not worth Returning for another piece of junk(these were cheap, I didn't expect a lot to begin with.Other HUGE NEGATIVE for me: only came with one remote for two lights.. Maybe not a big deal if I had planned on installing them both on the first floor, but seeing as one was too go on the 2nd floor in an office workspace and the 2nd in a forest floor living room(used by multiple ppl) or males or a real Hassel to go up and down the stairs for the remote(biggest issue is remote is only way to set auto-off timers on them that I've found)They were also(2 fixtures) only sent with 1 mounting set! Luckily they are light enough weight(even with the absurd amount of batteries they require(6AA EACH light), make sure u note that before buying as they aren't included and increase expense) I plan to mount them with extremely heavy duty Command strips or Scotch mounting tape, so if they become further damaged(I expect them to fall totally apart at some point) I can easily remove them without damage and replace with better fixtures. These lights(as most battery powered) are not quality enough to be permanent lighting. only sent with one package of mounting Screws.. Luckily I plan to mount one with several Heavy duty(no damage) mounting strips because it's in an area I don't wish to create a hole in the wall if I take it down. Yes, these not very heavy, but when u add 6 AA batteries they aren't super light, so mounting on Drywall and expecting them to hold up over time with the wimpy little screws and anchors provided isn't realistic to me. I won't send them back for lacking some mounting hardware, but hate the extra expense ofprecision my own. If I had known what I know now I likely would have purchased different lights.

I didn’t even realize they claim motion detection until I seen the categories in the ratings. Motion detection, I’ll have to investigate further. I haven’t noticed any indication they detect motion. Anyway, these are decent lights. Cheap as **it, but they don’t look bad and you really can’t notice their so damn cheap from a distance. They seem to work good. Remotes work good if pointed directly at them. They do not work simultaneously. You have to point the remote at each light. I was surprised by this. They put off good light. They’re a good option if you don’t have or want to install wiring. Oh, and although they have 8 slots for batteries, yes eight damn slots! I installed only 4 batteries and they still work fine. Not sure wtf this is all about, maybe for storing 4 back up batteries idk. Doesn’t make any sense.

I needed a couple lights to brighten up a dark desk area in my basement. These fit the bill perfectly! I actually used command strips instead of the provided screws to prevent wall damage, and so far they have stayed up. Command strips aren't included so you'll need to get those separately, or have some laying around like I did. I have used them for about a week now, intermittently for up to 4 hours a day, and they are still going strong. They take 6 AA batteries each, which is a lot, but I am also using rechargeable batteries so I don't go through so many.Also- these are NOT motion detecting! Nowhere in the instructions or on the remote is anything about motion sensing. I don't need that so I don't care, but I would have been upset if I bought these for that purpose.

It does everything it should. I just did not expect it to look so plastic and cheap. It’s not right for where it was going to be hung.

These compact, battery operated sconces are a wonderful solution for small spaces. And no unsightly cords! The remote control offers so many customizable options. Choose Cool white, White or Warm white for your color. Go from 100% brightness to 50% at the touch of a button. There are nine levels of dimming available and four different timer/auto shut off options. So easy to install with the removable back plate. The backplate even includes a built in mini level! When it's time to change the batteries, just remove the sconce from the backplate. The backplate remains attached to your surface. Brilliant design! The only improvement would be to include 2 remotes. Fortunately, I'm using these in the same room, but if you wanted to use them in separate rooms, it could be inconvenient. There is a manual on/off button on each sconce, but without the remote, you lose access to all of it's special features. They do require 6 AA batteries each. Depending upon the battery life, I may try rechargeable batteries in the future. Overall, it's attractive, and a great little solution when you need a little extra light.

Better than expected .I will purchase more of these great for when the power goes out,if your living off grid or if you want to use it as decor. Makes a great gift also. I wish there was more of a selection of styles to choose from , however what they do have goes well anyware.
